If you want to have a real swimming pool, the pool in the hotel is far too small. But you can have a good view from the pool. Everything else is fine, we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. They have many conference rooms, which are perfect for business meetings and other events. I really liked their sightseeing elevator; you can see the sea view from it, which is very nice.

Great value for money with very clean and modern rooms. It was appreciated that the room had an empty fridge available for use. However, I was disappointed by the lack of coffee/tea amenities in the room.

Walking to the hotel takes 16 min. Room is large. Swimming Pool is good but opening hours are very short (limited to afternoon from 3pm to 7pm). If weekend, the pool is opened for morning too but opening hours are very short too (7am to 11am). These are not convenient. The changing room door could not be closed

The staff provided an upgrade to a master suite at a reasonable price, so that me and wife have comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay.

The bathroom had cobwebs and there was mold on the room floor. The location is good, but the hotel is quite dated.

The hotel is showing its age, and the room decor feels a little dated. However, the surrounding area is lovely, situated right by the pier. From the rooms, you can enjoy distant views of ships in the harbor. It's also very convenient, with the city center just a ten-minute walk away. The hotel service is good, and the breakfast spread is quite generous.

To have a kettle in your room you must pay an extra $20 a night. Which we found so odd. We just ended up buying coffee from the mall. The smell that comes from the bathroom was horrendous. Pleasant stay for one night in Joensuu. The staff was very friendly (as you'd expect in Northern Carelia overall) and the hotel was clean and overall very pleasant. The room was spatious and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast, especially the local carelian pastries.

There are no amenities but very neat and cozy with beautiful view day and night. Don’t forget to bring your slippers and bath gowns along with teeth brushes, then you will be fine. Don’t miss their exquisite breakfast with a sun rising.

Perfect location to loads of restaurants/ cafe / fast food. Directly opposite the train station that service VR train to various parts of Finland. There is also a link department store and 24 hours supermarket. Highly recommended

Amazing location, just across central station and very easy to get around the city, near to all the shops and walking distance to main attractions. If not used to cold weather, you may feel cold while taking the bath. Also the luggage storage at hotel is a series of lockers. Good service, but the rooms are quite basic. There is no Smart TV or fridge, and no shampoo products are provided. The walls are thin. The location was fine for us. However, the parking space is small and not included in the price (14€/day). Self check-in was available, and the doors worked fine outside of service hours.

The bed is a little softer than other hotels, and the pillows are looser. Apart from these two points, there are basically no flaws. We did not buy breakfast, which is on the second floor and cannot be seen. The front desk in the lobby helped us print our boarding passes, and there is free coffee and tea, and a microwave.

This is a modern and comfortable hotel, where we slept peacefully and without disturbance. Restaurants and other retail facilities are not close by but the Fat Lizard brewery pub a short walk away is a big plus. The metro is anyhow not far, which of course gives you the possibility to get to Helsinki or other retail centres.
