Suggest to walk around there to see the trenches carved into the stone, waiting for the red army. Close to train with one of the largest and most expensive shopping malls of Finland

Default hotel whenever visiting Helsinki - no need to stay in city center when I can get an entire private flat with excellent pubilic transport connection in Leppävaara

The Internet was OK, Breakfast delicious. The back side of the hotel vichot on the mountain, with the defense of the Mannerheim

The Sello shopping center nearby is also excellent. Very cozy, friendly and quiet hotel - good for any length visits

Mukulan Kartano is beautiful old building at Mukula Sports Garden and Lake Beach, building back is on the beach view while main front door is beautiful old garden, In history it was private House but nowadays it's Hotel and Restaurant for Special Occasions and Celebrations e

My only critical comment is that the music played there didn't suit the place at all - it was some kind of pop music, sounded as if there was a radio hidden in the fireplace, the music came out from a very small area (instead of the normal way when you feel it comes from "everywhere") and the style just didn't make justice to the place itself

Maybe you could play jazz or classical, or just open a window and let the bird-song come indoors? Other than that, we were super happy and will surely be back!

Just walked in the lobby to take a look and got lots of information and a bit of history as well as a good look at the common areas.

The Mukkulan Kartano area is one of the more iconic locations to visit outside the Lahti center, and namely provides tennis courts, campfire sites, two beaches, a volleyball court, a sauna and playground all situated around the historical Mukkulan Kartano manor

It was good to sleep in the shelter of the solid log walls. You could admire the lovely details in the house. The service was great and friendly. The breakfast was adequate. The parking lot is quite small.

This place has character and atmosphere! The Ykspihlaja hostel is a great place to stay for travelers. The newly renovated port office building has found new life with this place to stay

I got an invitation to the atmospheric Kahvila Saha for a sauna, and at breakfast the conversation went smoothly with the other guests as well as the person in charge of the breakfast

A guest house renovated into an old port office. Clean rooms, breakfast available. The renovation was done taking into account the history of the house.

Rooms are very clean, sauna is rather small and old but still ok. Breakfast buffet is very good, dinner buffet is a bit less good (especially for the price)

The food is excellent and vegetarian food is available on request. The staff at the inn are really friendly. There are many hiking opportunities in the surrounding area, including the Raesärkki area and trails

Pihlajapuu Guesthouse is one of the best places to stay during my life. The old school is a charming building and the accommodation is beautiful. There is a gym in the courtyard where children can rave

Pihlajapuu was an amazing Place. The Foot was perfekt, the Owner was friendly and helpful, the house was beautyful and the location was intresting. All in all 10 out of 10 woud definitely recommend.

We stayed in 3 different Guest houses the last one being Minnas Majatalo Pihlajapuu / Aksyt Ammat Oy. Boot, Ski hire, excellent guiding, very friendly guest houses

The location is good, there are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I didn't use it, but it looks good. The bed is comfortable than I thought. The 24h opened alepa surprised me. Can store luggage before check in

The location is nice, very convenient to almost everywhere. Metro, tram and bus stops are all very close. The bus 600 from and to airport runs 24hours. And there is a supermarket nearby also open for 24hours

There are many supermarkets and restaurants around. It's surprise me one supermarket opens 24 hours. Bes is comfortable, and the staffs are friendly and helpful. The tram 7 is just cross the street

Family like place. Not central but very convenient place. Walkable distances from downtown Helsinki.Good value. Great staff. I will come back. Definitely recommend it.

My single room didn't have a private bathroom, which was a minor inconvenience as I had to use the shared facilities outside the room. However, the room itself was clean

We chose to stay in a double room with a shared bathroom, and the price was very reasonable. We didn’t know this when booking, but once we arrived, we found out that we also had free access to the sauna in the morning

Great hostel in a good location, very close to Talinn ferry and walking distance to port and city center. Clean, comfortable room, good shared bathroom and kitchen, nice staff, good wifi.

In the morning, guests can enjoy a free sauna, which is an amazing bonus and quite rare for a hostel. The laundry and dryer are very affordable, much cheaper than most places in Europe

This is a relatively cheap & basic hostel. It is fine for a 1 night stop, but would not recommend any longer. The beds are basic but work/practical

Eurohostel has a very convenient location, making it easy to get around the city. I have traveled all over Europe, and this is honestly one of the top three best hostels I’ve ever stayed in

Just 10mins from the city centre by tram. I got a 1Day-pass so it was very convenient. The room is clean. There is 24h supermarket next to the hostel. Highly recommended.

I stayed here as my beginning of my 1month europe backpack trip. the staffs are all really friendly and nice. my room was so big and comfortable. shower, bathroom and share kitchen were so clean

Simple hostel, just what I needed. Some social activities organized by the hostel. Not very crowded on Saturday in January

All good, I would like to praise the two guys for keeping the hygiene etc for the whole place spick and span from kitchen to rooms. They are doing an excellent job tidying/cleaning it

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need, perfect for cooking and spending time with other guests. What really makes this hostel special is the atmosphere, it truly feels like a family

It's a nice hike from the airport and Santa's Village (both within the hour) if you don't mind the walk, I'd advise to do that :) (I'd also recommend to book the sauna in the hostel, it's quite nice ;) )

All the staff and residents I met were extremely nice and helpful, I actually wished that I could stay longer just to hang out with everyone. The hostel has sauna as well, which I’ve heard is quite nice

The location is excellent: only a 10–15 minute walk to Santa Claus Village, where you can find most of the activities and attractions in the area. The bus stop to the city center is only 7 min walk
