Great value for money with very clean and modern rooms. It was appreciated that the room had an empty fridge available for use. However, I was disappointed by the lack of coffee/tea amenities in the room.

The heating wasn't working, but after I complained, they offered an extra heater that worked really well. The location is great.

Everything was absolutely perfect. It's close to the city center, and the breakfast was very good – there's something for everyone. The service was also lovely.

Walking to the hotel takes 16 min. Room is large. Swimming Pool is good but opening hours are very short (limited to afternoon from 3pm to 7pm). If weekend, the pool is opened for morning too but opening hours are very short too (7am to 11am). These are not convenient. The changing room door could not be closed

The facilities were OK but nothing more. The bar and restaurant were expensive. When our room was serviced in took around seven minutes, no sign of a vacuum cleaner. The beds weren't made either

Clean and new looking. Online check-in and check-out work well. Just be aware that you can online check-in even if your room is not available yet and no one will tell you when it is available — you will have to sit around and go to check the availability from the self-service check-in every once in a while. When I asked staff at the desk, they just said the check-in is at 16 and they don’t know about...

Nice hotel near market square and railway station.

Pleasant stay for one night in Joensuu. The staff was very friendly (as you'd expect in Northern Carelia overall) and the hotel was clean and overall very pleasant. The room was spatious and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast, especially the local carelian pastries.

80s decor, but very well-maintained! Right by the bay with amazing views for early risers! About a 10-minute walk to the city center! Breakfast was good! The Asian lady at the front desk recommended Savotta, a restaurant serving bear meat, directly opposite Senate Square. You need to book in advance, and it was great!

Great location with convenient transportation access. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped. The surroundings are elegant, with clear lake water all around. There's also a private underground parking garage.

During check-in, the staff were not very friendly. However, there was one Chinese front desk staff member who was extremely friendly and helpful. Before we checked in, we left our luggage at the counter and she patiently guided and explained everything to us. She also offered to help us book a taxi when we were in a rush. Incredible staff, right in the hearts of Tampere and within walking distance of almost everything. Public transit is extremely easy to access from here. The staff was wildly friendly and even remembered my name. I had an early flight out the next morning and they made a special breakfast box just for me. If you are traveling to Tampere...stay here. Really nice hotel with great views

Very nice and spacious rooms with spectacular views over the city of Tampere. Good breakfast open until 12 o'clock.

Overall a good hotel. But the direction of the AC is terrible and just face our head.

The Crowne Plaza Helsinki has an excellent location, within walking distance to city center attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the 24-hour service is attentive. It offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The room hygiene was terrible. The trash can hadn't been emptied, and the complimentary bottled water had clearly been opened and partially consumed. We requested a room change, but even the new room's carpet wasn't clean.

A really great hotel! It's not far from the city center, just about a 20-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi ride. There's a small supermarket nearby where I bought a lot of Fazer chocolates for souvenirs. The breakfast was also very rich and varied.

Wow, such an amazing place! Our standard room was far from standard, it was beautiful! Plus everything we needed and more. The spa was unreal! Paradise! The room was OK, with a dedicated desk. But there was no plug for charging near the bed, which was a bit troublesome. The breakfast was not very rich. There were some restaurants nearby, including a Chinese restaurant that tasted OK.

There is a limited choice of hotels in Lappeenranta and the Scandic Patria is showing it's age inside and out (like most Scandics). All in all though, it is a good hotel, rooms are comfortable but dated. The location is the main attraction being just 150m from the Harbour Square/Satamatori. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. There is lots of free on-street parking nearby.

We Loved Our Stay This was a lovely hotel in a GREAT location. Just a quick walk to restaurants, shops and a waterfront park. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Very nice pool and sauna + steam room. While you're supposed to book times in advance, spontaneous use is also possible without restrictions. Breakfast is also very good, and the bar in the evening is highly recommended. Great hotel.

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is great, but early check-out is not possible, and there is a lack of flexibility, which leads to a lack of consideration for the customer's perspective. If the next time you stay there has a more complicated itinerary, you should choose carefully.

We visited the spa complex. Four types of saunas, a salt room, a relaxation area, a large pool, a jacuzzi, and a bar. There is a summer terrace with a lake view. I recommend this place.

A hotel with great design, friendly staff and great breakfast. The standard double room size is fine but the rest room is very small. Bed is comfortable. In room amenities are quite good, with a capsule coffee machine.

The rooms are a bit old fashioned already but personally I like it. They have their own character compared to many popular business hotels. But this is really matter of taste. The court yard side rooms are very quiet, which is a requirement for me, but don't expect any view. The breakfast is very good in central European standards but quite average in Finland or Sweden. Imatran Kylpylä is in a perfect spot. The SPA area is fantastic and fun to visit. The recreation area, especially the bowling, is a great addition and we enjoyed it a lot. But, the rooms are a big letdown. They seem untouched since the hotel was built, with old furniture and beds that have lost their shape after 20 years. Despite being called "superior," the rooms are far from it and feel very outdated...

Got taken by some software engineers from turku when they came past Lappeenranta on an excursion. This is the first place we went to and I've got to admit quite a weird fun chill place to visit. It feels very 2008 in a nostalgic way for me. I'd recommend visiting but the only downside I can think of is that you need to mortgage your house and sell a kidney to buy more than 3 drinks

Good service, but the rooms are quite basic. There is no Smart TV or fridge, and no shampoo products are provided. The walls are thin. The location was fine for us. However, the parking space is small and not included in the price (14€/day). Self check-in was available, and the doors worked fine outside of service hours.

The bed is a little softer than other hotels, and the pillows are looser. Apart from these two points, there are basically no flaws. We did not buy breakfast, which is on the second floor and cannot be seen. The front desk in the lobby helped us print our boarding passes, and there is free coffee and tea, and a microwave.

Good for one night stay. Really basic, offering only bed and breakfast. Rooms quite small, not possible to open windows. Quite expensive for such a standard. For 10€ more you can have much better stay at Sokos or Scandic.

Food is OK but service is very slow (took about an hour to receive my order). Luckily I did not have to pay because the buffet at the hotel was closed, but I would have been angry to pay those prices. The shrimp taco was ridiculously made of just 2 shrimps. The steak was good, but an hour is to much to wait.

This is a good hotel for families visiting or solo travelling. All the amenities are close by and they have pub food in the hotel. The breakfast has good selection of foods.

This is a delightful little gem, perfect for families. The property has a great restaurant, a wonderful buffet breakfast, and superb pool, hot tubs, and saunas. I also has wonderful entertainment possibilities, with ping pong, pool table, and even a little bowling alley.

Amazing hotel in every way! I could write a 500word story about how great this hotel is, it was the first time for me and my colleague in Jyväskylä and we could not have found a better hotel! To those who go to this hotel, I recommend you to take bus or car and not try to walk since the hotel is located above a steep hill. Don't be fooled by the outside look of the hotel. Though it might look very glim and boring on the outside, it's certainly refreshing inside. It has amazing spa at night, bowling hall, and bar is also available for the night, although it closes fairly soon.
