This is my always hotel when I come to Helsinki since they were opened like 7-8 years ago. Good location, and I like the breakfast spread. Looking forward to stay here in my next trip
If you want to have a real swimming pool, the pool in the hotel is far too small. But you can have a good view from the pool. Everything else is fine, we had a pleasant stay.
The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. They have many conference rooms, which are perfect for business meetings and other events
Amazing location, good service and very nice room with awesome view. The rooftop pool was incredible other than the temperature. We unfortunately couldn't enjoy the view more since it was too cold for us😂

The location is really good. The tram is very caring and the facilities amazing. Breakfast the best. And the bar at the top is a must in Helsinki
My 1st visit to Helsinki was impressive by Valo Hotel with their friendliness and helpful staff. The daily buffet breakfast are also very good spread. Nice juices and with good coffee.
Stayed here multiple times. AS always the hotel wa clean, with friendly service and a good varied breakfast.

Would definitely come back! The wellness area was a bit pricey for an add on but really nice and chill when quiet! I just would have liked a staff member there to manage noise and groups as I wanted to go on my last night but it was very overcrowded with loud intimidating groups
Small room but it has everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Staffs were super helpful and friendly. Would love to stay here if I ever visit Helsinki in the future
One of the best hotel we stayed in the Scandic region. The only hotel out of 10 that has a bathtub and a swimming pool too. Has both heater and air conditioning.
No idea why essential such as a kettle is not provided.

Walking to the hotel takes 16 min. Swimming Pool is good but opening hours are very short (limited to afternoon from 3pm to 7pm)
Great value for money with very clean and modern rooms. It was appreciated that the room had an empty fridge available for use. However, I was disappointed by the lack of coffee/tea amenities in the room.
The heating wasn't working, but after I complained, they offered an extra heater that worked really well. The location is great.

Service at breakfast was very good. Self-service, but tables were quickly cleared when other guests were finished - no waiting to find/get a table
The staff provided an upgrade to a master suite at a reasonable price, so that me and wife have comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay.
It's also very convenient, with the city center just a ten-minute walk away. The hotel service is good, and the breakfast spread is quite generous

We got room on old building; walkway is so far away. There was some noise in the room also (maybe that’s why they provided earplugs in the room). The room itself is ok, good size for 2 adults and 2 kids

My only complaint was that the room I was placed in was at the very end of the corridor, right above the parking entrance, and there was this loud, constant humming noise coming from below, so I had to wear headphones in the room, and I could hardly sleep at night, which ruined an otherwise excellent experience

Overalls hotel is good meet the brand Hilton standard, room is nice, front desk is helpful. The bad thing is no self laundry & the breakfast everyday the same not much choice

Good food and close to the railway 🚃 station 🚉. So, it's easy to Helsinki if your train is around 06:00 am.
The location of the hotel is just the best. Closest to the train station and the city center is just a walk away. Had an amazing time there and the cleanliness of the rooms made my stay more comfortable
Perfect location to loads of restaurants/ cafe / fast food. Directly opposite the train station that service VR train to various parts of Finland. There is also a link department store and 24 hours supermarket

There are no amenities but very neat and cozy with beautiful view day and night. Don’t forget to bring your slippers and bath gowns along with teeth brushes, then you will be fine
Comfortable beds, great buffet breakfast, and so easy to get to/from both the airport and most attractions - tram lines 1/2/6T/7T all run past the front, and it's across the street from the central Helsinki station with direct rail service to the airport

Been many times in other cities and was always nothing but excellent. A room with a miniature sauna as such is a great idea. The sauna taking 40 minutes to heat feels a bit too much

Right middle of the town. Good location! Drinking water from the tap in the bedroom so cold and fresh. Best drinking water in the world as they say and it’s true. I would recommend this hotel and will go back.

Toilet is clean and good except for the tape beneath the shower door, sometimes water from the shower can leak out to under the basin. We hope that the separate between the wet and dry areas work properly
It had only two options at the egg bar (omelet with specific goods and fried eggs). Had certainly a gluten free space but was really small. Needs to be improved in many areas

Stayed at Hotel Haven for 3 nights during a visit to Helsinki for a conference and it was an excellent choice. Room was lovely, food was excellent and the staff were all lovely and very helpful
Also worth knowing that although it did not have a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, the food served in the bar is actually very good
