Good service, beautiful environment, reluctant to leave

Spent a few days here due to attending a conference in the city. Absolutely loved the place - now part of the Hilton chain but with real underlying character. My room was reasonably large and very comfortable. I didn't have any issues with the bathroom becoming waterlogged after showering. Comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Such a serene experience. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful and greenery neighbourhood. It has a big park close to it where you could take long quiet walks!

Been many times in other cities and was always nothing but excellent. This time not all perfect. A room with a miniature sauna as such is a great idea. Everything was great as others have said. I wanted to comment especially on the restaurant where breakfast was served. Wonderful historic rooms overlooking the harbour. A highlight for me. Also worth knowing that although it did not have a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, the food served in the bar is actually very good.

Stayed at Hotel Haven for 3 nights during a visit to Helsinki for a conference and it was an excellent choice. Room was lovely, food was excellent and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. The hotel location was perfect for doing some sightseeing in the limited spare time I had. Would definitely recommend.

Service: A very poor experience. At 3 AM, someone suddenly tried to enter the room; thankfully, the door was secured with a safety latch. When I called the front desk, they said it was a routine staff check and they had opened the wrong room. When I checked out in the morning, the front desk staff apologized coldly, but I didn't feel any remorse at all. I will never choose this hotel again.

Very nice pool and sauna + steam room. While you're supposed to book times in advance, spontaneous use is also possible without restrictions. Breakfast is also very good, and the bar in the evening is highly recommended. Great hotel.

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is great, but early check-out is not possible, and there is a lack of flexibility, which leads to a lack of consideration for the customer's perspective. If the next time you stay there has a more complicated itinerary, you should choose carefully.

If you visit during the snowy season, the glass will be mostly covered in snow, so you won't be able to get a clear view of the sky.

The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning wasn't quite strong enough – I even felt a bit chilly wearing thick fleece pants. I suggest increasing the fan speed on the AC. Extra large room was spacious but could be more comfy. Colours and materials in the room were nice and calming. Some noise coming through from the corridor. Service was welcoming and available. Breakfast was good but a bit more versatile. Sauna at the artic is extraordinary. Strong recommendation to visit sauna.

If i could rate above excellent, I would. The food, the room, the location, staff and parking made for an extremely memorable visit. We absolutely loved this hotel and town. They even gave us functional and festive Christmas room keys to take home.

Amazing hotel and staff. Faultless. Big kudos to the hotel concierge Habib who went above and beyond to save our itinerary because of a cancelled tour we booked ourselves.
