Honestly, the hotel is very overrated. It is old. We stayed in a room with a view of the Yelesel fields and a toilet that sticks out at you. Many things are broken and look very bad. This hotel needs renovating, but the staff were polite.

The pictures advertised for the room that we booked didn’t match the real room that we received. Instead of a cute little terrace, we got a weird half window. They tried to make us pay for an upgrade. I don’t understand why I have to pay for an upgrade when we didn’t receive a proper room to begin with. Leaving it after a night stay. The sea view is first-rate, nothing to say. Except for the occasional maintenance noise during the day, it was OK most of the time, and the front desk was very friendly. Overall, it is traditional, but I am very satisfied with it.

I have a lot of praise for this hotel, especially its service. I had a spare phone, a relatively new one, which fell on the bed. I had already checked out and left my luggage at the hotel. When I came back from a day out, they immediately recognized me and gave me my phone. It is a very reliable hotel.

As the hotel was originally built by Napoleon III for his empress, it carries great historical significance and an exceptional sense of luxury. Come to the Brasserie for dinner. It doesn’t disappoint. Especially if you dine on the terrace or window side. I stayed here a few years back, and the room was lovely, breakfast exquisite. They offer VIP airport pick-up service, and there was someone waiting with a sign to greet you as soon as you got off the plane, which made me feel very reassured. Although there were some issues at check-out, they were resolved after I reported them.

Nice stay in Strasbourg The Sofitel is well located in Strasbourg, close to all the major attractions and public transport. The staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is somewhat worn in places with stained carpets in corridors and room lobbies. Bed was clean and comfortable and the room was quiet.

Mandarin Oriental, always my top choice and a brand I adore. I landed early in the morning and my room wasn't ready yet, so I headed to the breakfast restaurant. I figured I'd have to pay since I hadn't checked in, but they waived the charge! It wasn't a huge amount, but it was such a thoughtful and warm gesture. The service is truly impeccable and heartwarming. So grateful!

The room was average, but rather dark overall. The hallway felt like a typical chain five-star hotel, not at all like a hotel in this price range. Staff service was acceptable, and they responded promptly.
