Hotels with beach in France

This is by far my best stay in South of France. I picked a suite that is facing the ocean and I have to say that's the best upgrade choice I've made for myself

Lovely hotel, quiet location although very close to heart of old town.. staff always make us feel we're returning home. Won't be the last time we visit.

The whole stay is amazing, waking up seeing the sunrise, watching the sunset, and the sailing all days long just elevated the whole experience

Antibes is beautiful at any time of year. The spa reservation was for 50 minutes, which was perfect for winter. Excellent service.

Location is 10/10 (I know there is a “Karen comment” that it is a road between the hotel and the beach but listen this is the case in any place in south of France…

The only thing is that you aren’t guaranteed a beach bed if you stay here, they seem to be booked out for days (or more) in advance and honestly, the staff at the beach club were all pretty rude/blase and didn’t care that we were staying at the hotel (almost like the two are separate, if they actually are, they shouldn’t sell it as a part of the hotel!)

(Especially with the price point it’s not supposed to be just ok) There is no beaches in the hotel but there is in there sister hotel I honestly would have gave them 2 stars if it’s not for the lady who drive the boat to take us there ,I added the third star

A genuine 5 star hotel. We ate in the grill restaurant. Made to feel very welcome. An exceptional situation overlooking the sea. Food was good and made the children feel very welcome. Comes with a price to match.

Another magnificent location for a luxurious departure from the norm. A lovely hotel with magnificent rooms and views, and food and service that excels.

15 euros for eggs at breakfast. Or a beach towel for 7 euros a day

What to start with ? I don’t even know, the reception, the staff, the rooms, the swimming pool, the restaurants, everything was “Wouahhh” 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Many thanks to the whole team! We will come back next year with great pleasure 🫶

This is a really fun hotel. Absolutely stunning views and gorgeous rooms. There’s so much to see and do around the property. The breakfast is included and it’s absolutely fantastic. The linens are luxurious.

We booked this hotel last minute and a bit doubtful at the start. I had to say everything was perfect, from staff- super nice and helpful, room so clean and new- much better than a photo

Location was not too far from town and you also had an access to small private beach. Dont know what the negative comments were about, probably before covid and their renovation

Quiet time of the year for our visit but the staff still couldn't do enough for us across our stay. Clean, friendly and great parking. Walking distance into st tropez.

We loved our stay in this friendly and professionally staffed hotel. Rooms spacious and very clean; ours had balcony with view to pool and a bit of the Gulf of St Tropez. Private beach access across the road

Easy and free parking right in front of the entrance. The rooms are a bit small but its nice. The bathrooms are nice!

Breakfast was ample and service great. So much to see and do around Gassin/St Tropez

We loved this residence! The room was great, with a nice view and balcony. It also offers a private beach :) The restaurant is delicious.

Lovely seaside stay Just a one night stay - but gorgeous place, right by the beach - lovely friendly staff. Minor issue if you want a wide range restaurant, say for more than one night, you will have to leave site.

We site which is set around a small sandy beach consists of several apartments with a main car parking area/offices and restaurant/breakfast room situated close to the beach

A wonderful low-key hotel, with a beautiful quiet beach and very friendly staff. We asked for extra long chairs that were promptly provided. The restaurant has a wonderful location, and a kids play area.

The restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was also more than adequate. The beach was also perfect for us. There were also plenty of free parking places

We stayed in one of the newer apartments situated fairly high up above the beach. It consisted of 3 rooms: a smallish double bedroom, a good sized bathroom and a kitchen/sitting area

A really super hotel! Villa Miraé is absolutely lovely in every way. It’s small, beautiful to look at, and stay at. Our room was superb, beautiful bed linen and towels, very elegantly decorated and very clean

The hotel staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated with great amenities. Furthermore, the beach and the pool areas are peaceful

This level of customer service is so incredible, I wish all to know. It’s a mighty fine “small” hotel w a beautiful and generous heart! Please go see for yourself. I, for one, am grateful and will return time and again!

I cannot gush enough about the guest experience at this property. And the special care I was given during a travel hiccup needs nothing: I had a dress sent for repair which I forgot to request at departure

Luckily I contacted the hotel from my next destination (2 hrs away, in St Tropez) and the staff lept into action to find a solution

"Privilege"? It looked like a mediocre chain hotel. Furnishings, bedding, everything was mediocre, no style, did not match advertised description. Noise of motorcycles from the street was non-stop

After breakfast wanted to go for a walk, asked if the hotel provided bottled water - the answer? "Only very large bottles. " Went for our walk, reception seeing us come bac asked if we still wanted water

FIRST hotel I've been in for years that did not provide bottled water. (We are Gold ******* so we stay - in 2025 spent 50 nights in hotels). Breakfast: very ordinary chain hotel buffet

Yet she refused to let him make the change without an exhorbitant fee, despite the hotel being fairly empty (saw almost no one at breakfast. ) Tired, disappointed, went to our room

At 7:30 am over cooked dried sausage & bacon, runny scrambled eggs or boil-your-own hardboiled eggs. Small selectons of fruit, baked goods, cereals

No one we interacted with seemed to like their job. Nothing about this hotel is good except the location

The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais, and also close to plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It’s ideal if you like exploring Nice on foot

Good value Very small room. Beds comfortable. Tiny clean en-suite Curtain wasn’t quite wide enough for window so night’s sleep disturbed by street lights outside. Good value Courtyard garden appreciated.

Very nice boutique hotel located close to La Rue Anglais and Old town. Clean well appointed rooms- including updated bathroom with towel warmer. Staff were very friendly and available especially Kurt at the desk

Might suggest reserving an inside facing room because of street noise

The atmosphere of the whole hotel is peaceful and cozy, a perfect little haven in the city. For the price and the location, I think it’s excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I visit Nice

The property consists of 15 villas each with their own swimming pool, garden, fully furnished and equipped plus let’s not forget the outstanding daily housekeeping and gardening services

On arrival to the Domaine, we were greeted by an extraordinary team and felt right at home. They all spoke great English and even helped us learn some French along the way

Before settling into our Villa, we were given a tour of the Domaine and their facilities and then given a full tour of the villa to explain how all the appliances and services worked

We recently stayed at the Domaine Villas Mandarine in Calvi. Our experience was unforgettable, and we will always treasure the memories made at this beautiful Domaine

The pool and outside area (including bbq if used) cleaned daily, discretely first thing in the morning. Housekeeping daily by a fantastic team, so efficient. Great location for airport, beach and Calvi town

Great hotel steps from the beach! Great hotel! Parking is limited and public parking in Le Lavandou is a big problem

Had a rental car but once i was able to park it at the hotel didn't drive the car again due to parking issues

On the plus side: great blue water sea views and very friendly staff. Arrival in the dark is a little difficult: our GPS took us to the back of the hotel, on the side of the busy road, with no real parking

You can't really use the deck in the evening to just lounge as the right side turns to a restaurant and therefore becomes noisy. The sunbeds are to be paid on top, and extra for towels

We had a beautiful stay here at LE BOR. The hotel’s view is incredible, the rooms facing the sea have balconies and you feel literally on top of the beach, you can hear and smell the sea - how beautiful

The employees are friendly and helpful. The breakfast in front of the sea is nice and tasty, but if you're use to a lot of choice or stay a few days, it might quickly be repetitive

The Restaurant is in a beautiful setting, morning and evening. Waiters are friendly and officiant, serving good food. A relaxed friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel

Great place! The sea is really close, but they have a nice pool as well. The staff is so friendly you could speak with them for hours.

Hotel is good, the reception was very kind, the room was fine. They did take care of my special request for a crib and bathtub which was very much appreciated. The mattress is quite soft (not my liking)

Review of Hotel Les Cigales This hotel is a good choice for a short term stay (no longer than a week). The good benefits we had is that this hotel had car parking availability which is very hard to find in this area

Rooms of good standard and friendly staff. Great location, close to the beach, promenade and restaurants but away from the noise from the night life. Three local Michelin restaurants next door but with affordable prices.

Excellent, room was a bit basic but had everything needed including a safe and the complementary water was much appreciated! Only a short walk to the train station or Promenade. Would definitely visit again.

As well as the location was ideal, not far from most attractions and shops. The receptionist was very nice at our check in and check out, guided us with what to do in the city and so on

They went out of there way to provide storage for our two bicycles. The location is great, just beyond the bustle of the city but a short walk from many restaurants, the beach and the train station

The desserts are also oustanding. As for the hotel, very big and spacious balconies, comfortable and big bed, the bed linens are great and a beach right by the hotel

In an ideal setting near the sea in the middle of a Mediterranean garden, this young chef has transformed this place that has existed for a long time into a hotel restaurant with a refined menu, trendy and trendy decor

Fabulous restaurant! Refined and delicious cuisine! The chef knows how to sublimate his local products to perfection. Accompanied by impeccable service, a warm atmosphere by the sea and a fine selection of wine

The Chef is a master! We have eaten here now 4x and have had: Steak Rossini Lobster with risotto and truffles Ris de veau The service staff is attentive and friendly - really welcoming staff

I highly recommend this place for all occasions, relax while sipping a cocktail in the middle of the palm trees, a brunch or a dinner with family, friends or lovers and treat your taste buds

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Opposite is the beach, and there is a choice of private beach (€10) or the public one. We had a hire care so it was easy to get in and out of the main town

Some of the room photos here may look a bit old, but the hotel has been fully renovated since then. The rooms are modern, clean, and all offer beautiful sea views

The first floor balconies are really big and have sun loungers. For the beach, you have two options: A public beach, 5-minute walk away or the hotel’s private beach, costs €25 per person

Everyone at reception was very nice. Hotel also has a parking lot right in front which costs €5 per night

The beds are wonderful and the shower was actually spacious with great pressure and high end luxury toiletries provided. The rooms are not huge but thats a historic building for you. The balconies are delightful, too

Menton is centrally located if you want to shop in Sanremo or play in Monaco or Nice or simply stay close and walk three minutes from the Balmoral into the sea. A new favorite of mine and one I will be back to

Rooms are a bit small, beds are 160cm (at least, ours was), rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean. During the "low season", it's possible to stay here for a very reasonable price

The Balmoral hotel is part of the French VacancesBleues Group, just like the neighbouring Westminster hotel. Both are located in impressive buildings, fronting the sea

The hotel offers the option Half-Board from which we have profited. Every day the menu was different, healthy and tasty. Service was very enthousiastic

If the half-board does not attract you, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, most offering formulas between 20 and 25 Euro

Kudos to the housekeeping staff! A bottle of wine was waiting for our arrival. A huge, gorgeous beach and sandy-bottom ocean swimming in pristine water. Excellent breakfast buffet, and very good dinner menu

The premises are well maintained and clean. The resort has a very nice private beach. What we liked the most is the outstanding service by the hotel staff

It felt over priced for a five star hotel in Lecci. The beach was nice but not the nicest in the area and quite rocky. The hotel is about a 20+ minute drive from Porto Vecchio and not that well located
