Splendid Hotel in Paris

Clean room and strategic location, comfortable bed, and friendly front desk

It was very good and as advertised… good location with loads to see

The room is clean, tidy, and very cozy. Transportation is extremely convenient, with two subway lines near the hotel, and it's particularly close to the Eiffel Tower.

Overall a very good experience — clean rooms and excellent location

It was a small and decent room, but it’s Paris…the shower box is quite small. I elbowed the glass a couple of times while i showered so I’d imagine that bigger built people might not like how compact it is. I felt like the soundproofing is close to non-existent, I could hear people walking around, watching tv, and even their alarms so I couldn’t sleep very well. I also hated having to carry and drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Nonetheless, the location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant. It’s only a couple of minutes from the station and around 20min walk to see Eiffel Tower. I think I’ll still stay at Splendid Hotel next time I visit Paris, but will definitely try to book earlier so I get a room with the Eiffel Tower view.

Good location, near to restaurants, cafe and bakeries. Near to Rue du Commerce and metro stations. Opposite a laundry shop.
Friendly staffs.
Inconvenient lifts due to older building design.
Very tiny shower space, made it almost impossible to shower (We are Asian normal size). Particularly asked for email and phone number from us not others, feel a bit strange.
Relatively quiet, no street noise except ambulances but could hear neighbor door closing and opening.

It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and attentive—he truly made us feel at home.

The hotel itself is charming, clean, and located in a convenient spot for exploring the city. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was both welcoming and elegant.

Thanks to Charles and the rest of the team at Hotel Splendid, our Paris trip was even more special. We’ll definitely be returning—and recommending this gem to friends and family!
