Hôtel Sèvres Saint Germain

We loved our weekend stay in this hotel! The location was great for us and a really nice area of Paris, close to multiple metro stations and with plenty of local bakeries for breakfast and small shops if we needed them! The people on reception were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy - would definitely return if we come back to Paris!

I stayed for a week in August and have nothing bad to say about the hotel, staff or location.
Clean (daily housekeeping) and quiet (I had a courtyard facing room).
All the Staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful.. There are many restaurants nearby and several grocery stores.
5 min walking distance to several metro stations or about 20 min to the Seine.
I'd say this hotel is closer to a 4 star than a 3 star.

(Those 2 recent negative reviews are from the same people and appear to be about someone not reading the booking terms and policies and neglecting to buy travel insurance then blaming the hotel for their mistake.)

Only positive things to say about Hotel Sèvres Saint Germain. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff. Very nice and extremely accommodating. Alex and Nadja at the reception went above and beyond to attend all our needs. Maria, at the breakfast, was a gem!
The location was exceptional. The room (and all areas of the hotel) was very clean - and I am picky when it comes to cleanliness.
The room was very small with the shower box being specially small - a larger person would have an issue taking a comfortable shower. But the shower had plenty of hot water and it was perfect after a long day walking in the cold weather.
Will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

I had a very, very nice stay here! While the rooms are a bit small in general, relative to Paris they are probably about as big as you can get--I doubt that any "normal" person would be able to find a bigger room for cheaper. In contrast to many other places I visited in Paris, it was very warm, even in the lobby.

The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. They were able to answer all the questions I had, no matter how trivial, at a moment's notice. Even when I left and needed a receipt for my stay, they answered me within 3 minutes of sending my email on a Saturday.

I only have two modest complaints, but given how otherwise pleasant the stay was, they do nothing to change my rating. The first is that the walls are paper-thin, so when the neighboring guests entered their room in the middle of the night, I would get a bit panicked, since it sounded exactly like somebody was walking into my own room. I think this would be easily fixed by adding a physical lock to the inside of the rooms--this would be enough to keep the mind at ease.

The buffet is, I have to be honest, not worth it at all. While it's clear that the staff worked very hard to prepare the breakfast, it's hard to justify paying 18 euro for a cold buffet. The food was tasty, but simply not worth the price!

All in all an extremely pleasant stay. The neighborhood is quiet, but not completely devoid of life and I never felt unsafe coming in and out of the building, or while walking around the area.

Close to all attractions, helpful and friendly staff. Walkable distance to Metro Station. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

One of the cutest hotels! Had an awesome 3 night stay here. The staff were amazing; helpful and always friendly! Perfectly located, close by many cafes and shops.

Really nice place to visit Paris. Very clean and in the center of Paris. The people of the hotel is very kind and speak English. I recommend 100%. The room we took is a little small but is perfect for tourists.
