Fred'Hotel in Paris

Unfortunately, we had a rather negative experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready, and we had to wait 25 minutes before checking in. The room itself was okay, but the third bed made an extremely loud noise, which made it difficult to sleep.

Although the area was mostly quiet, we could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, which gave a poor impression of the soundproofing. On the first night, the phone in our room rang twice around 1:30 AM. We didn’t answer, as we were confused and quite scared. When we asked reception the next morning, they had no explanation. This made us feel unsafe.

Breakfast was also a big disappointment – only baguette, butter, and jam were offered. The breakfast area was cramped, located right next to the reception, with only about 15 seats. It felt uncomfortable, and we regretted choosing the breakfast option.

Several items listed in the hotel’s advertisement were missing, such as coffee capsules, bottled water, and newspapers. We brought this up with the staff, but nothing was done. At one point, I tried to boil water, and a lot of dirt came out – very unhygienic.

We will not be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to others.
