This hotel is everything it's cracked up to be - including very boutique. The rooms are fine (for Paris) and beautifully furnished. But there are only six narrow rooms, stacked atop one another. The staff leaves at 9 PM daily. The older Indian man who is the cleaner proudly told me that I'd be the only guest in the hotel. In fact, I was the only person in the entire building. There are certainly security measures in place. The door was allegedly alarmed. There's a phone I could have used to call for help. But the idea of being alone in a building that I cannot control nor even check the security of was....unsettling. If a fire broke out below me...if someone broke in...I'm all alone in a country whose language I am not overwhelmingly fluent in. So, YES, recommended but NOT for females travelling alone.

Excellent location for all the sights as well as easy access to the Metro. Staff is amazing and very friendly! Very unique place and the bed was super comfy. A little issue with hot water in the shower but overall I loved this place and will come back!

Beautiful building with a lot of history. The staff are excellent. Just a few kinks to work out under their new management - hot water in showers is very limited and wifi is choppy. Rooms are large and spacious, beds are very comfortable.

We did not enjoy this property as much as others mainly due to the lack of description of the rooms. The loft room is difficult to move around and you are forced to climb up a small spiral staircase to your bed where at the top you hit your head (I'm 6'2").
We had all kinds of internet issues and no support. I asked for a partial refund due to our experience and was simply ignored.
There are plenty of other nicer properties in Paris, we will not be coming back.

The area around the property is excellent however felt it was overprized. The registration area itself is quiet dark and they dont have staff overnight. Manager was a little rude to us and needs to be more courteous otherwise the room itself is clean and quiet comfortable. Overall a pleaant stay

It was exceptional. The staff were amazing and it only has 6 rooms so intimate and friendly.

The woman who helped us at the front desk for the 2 days we were there was amazing! She was extremely helpful and accomodating. She assisted us immediately with any question or issue we had.

This place should have the best burger in paris or no burger at all. At this price I expected something like NYC Minetta Taverns Black Label burger. But all I got was a boring, forgettable burger. Jean François piège has the skill, the kitchen and the ingredients to make a stellar burger - but this just tasted like laziness.
I cannot comment on the rest of the menu, I can imagine the steaks are correct. Just don’t go there for the burger.

Not that I order much Chateaubriand (I usually get stock fillets) but this one was absolutely divine. It was 450g for two people and I had to order a burger after because I was still hungry but I usually have a big appetite for steak dinners.
Overall this was a great restaurant. They asked us to have desserts at the bar because they had an emergency and needed the table and offered us a digestif as compensation that I had them make two instead of one (I initially asked for 3 per person as a half-joke). They initially put the second digestif on the bill but I convinced them to remove it.

My favorite place to eat steak in Paris. Price is on the high side but the steak is heaven on earth. I particularly enjoyed their entrecôte very much. They have selection of meats you can choose from, and you can even opt for the meat tour where they show you the different meats they have.
If you have room for dessert, the pineapple dessert is also really divine.
The décor is really tasteful yet unpretentious. More of a smart casual vibe that I very much prefer.

It was a wonderful experience, the waiters are very mindful of your welfare and happiness. The wine advise was excellent.
