Hôtel Madison in Paris

Let me make some objective comments. I don't know why this hotel has such a high score.
First, let's talk about the most unbearable part, the noise. From 7 or 8 in the morning, you can hear the roar and vibration of the train underground. It runs almost every ten minutes, and you can hear it even with earplugs. The sound insulation between rooms is also very poor. I can hear the TV next door playing in the middle of the night, the sound of water flowing, and the clear conversation of people upstairs. The sound insulation is really bad, not just ordinary bad.
Secondly, the room is small but ok, but the shower in the bathroom is broken. When I wanted to take a shower the next day, I found that I couldn't adjust the water temperature at all. I called the room service in the middle of the night, and a staff member came and didn't fix it. He said he would fix it the next day, but it seemed that no one came the next day, which means I didn't take a shower in these two days.
Then, the breakfast is okay, with a little less variety, but it is probably related to the size of the hotel, so it is tolerable.
In summary, the most unbearable thing is the noise. People who pay attention to the sleeping environment are advised not to choose this hotel.
