Grand Hotel Lafayette in Paris

This is the first time that I’ve stayed away from the typical areas in Paris where most tourists tend to stay close to monuments and I couldn’t be happier with that! That goes without saying that the location was great and still in the city center. This hotel was authentic and welcoming. We noticed that a lot of the guests were actually French. From the moment we walked in, we were promptly greeted by Angie who helped check us in. Every one of the hotel staff was always kind, courteous, and smiled as they greeted us. I’d have to say that this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve traveled the world quite a bit. The daily breakfast is buffet style and well worth the money. The room was a decent size, the beds were very extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly large for Paris standards with great water pressure. Overall, our hotel stay was excellent and I would gladly stay here again as well as highly recommend it to any of my friends and loved ones.

100% plan to stay here again for our next trip to Paris! The staff was so kind and patient speaking English with us since we do not speak French. The location was great, very walkable to big tourist spots and able to explore the more local neighborhoods by heading the other way. Design of the hotel has luxury feel and bedding was so comfortable.

Had a great stay at Hotel Eugene en Ville. Staff are extremely friendly and offered complimentary coffee and croissants, while waiting for our room to be ready. The terrace was space and comfortable, and the location of the Hotel is fantastic. Will return again next year!

I loved staying here for one night in Paris! Place was easy to get to, appreciated the staff that were especially helpful and kind during the check in process. I also felt like the room was pretty spacious compared to others that I have had in Paris. I enjoyed the nice spacious shower and felt like the provided toiletries were quality. Breakfast was nice and had many options which was well worth the additional cost. Rooms are quiet and I never heard a sound from the neighboring rooms.

Very nice charming boutique hotel. Staff is great. The breakfast is worth it with variety and great quality. Excellent croissants and amazing bacon. I had a room with a very comfortable king size bed. Central location with several metro stations around and fast access everywhere. I will just regret that they don't have mini-bars in the rooms. They do have 24/7 room service.

I came back a second time as I so loved the hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful.They kindly accommodated a change of dates, as well as arriving an hour early to the room.The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The showers have great water pressure. Breakfast is delicious, would have only been made better had it been delivered to the room. But my main reason for renting a room here is the access to terrace rooms. Absolutely love them! Only complaint, and it is one that I mentioned my last stay, is that the lounge chairs on the terrace are impossible to use, because when you sit on them you get absolutely SOAKING WET and have to change yr clothes! This happened twice as they appear dry until you sit down and then you become soaking wet. Finding a better option then the current water laden cushions, as well as having some sort of warning that this may occur is very important. But overall I love the hotel!!!

Great hotel, strong interior design with good size rooms. Powerful shower in open plan bathroom that had a lounge area with 2 chairs and a coffee machine. Breakfast selection was impressive
