Room Had No Windows – Disappointing Stay

I recently stayed at this hotel in Paris and was thoroughly disappointed. Over the last 30 days, I’ve stayed at five different four-star hotels in the same area, and this was by far the worst, despite similar pricing.

Before booking, I specifically asked if the room had windows and was assured it did—only to find out the only window was in the bathroom, not in the room itself. I also asked if the room was quiet, but it turned out to be right next to a noisy elevator, making it impossible to relax.

To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi in the room was extremely spotty, likely because the room is so hidden, making it hard to stay connected. Additionally, when I tried to bring a small bowl of bread from the restaurant up to my room, the manager yelled across the lobby, saying I couldn’t take anything from the kitchen to my room. While the policy might be understandable, the way it was handled was completely unprofessional and unnecessary.

This level of service is far from what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience.
