Hotel Royal Bergere in Paris

Firstly let me say that the staff on reception were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately this hotel is in need of a freshen up. We arrived for a one night stay in late June with temptetures around 26C There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. We were provided with a fan, that tbh wouldn't pass a UK safety check. However we had no option to use it to make the room bareable. The bathroom again is dated with a concertina type shower door and seperate hot and cold taps. We paid for breakfast which was adequate, however limited in choice with small portions. We wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The hotel has a good central location, nonetheless the entrance is pretty dirty and unappealing and the main receptionist a curmudgeon like person for whom a smile or a hello to a client is asking too much. The beds are in DIRE need of new mattresses and the room look like they were last renovated in the fifties, no exageration. I will never return there!

This hotel is in very poor condition. It's very very very tired. It's not well maintained at all. The rooms are not very nice and they are small. Beds are really uncomfortable.
Yes it's not too expensive but it's really not worth the savings. It's not a pleasant place to stay in.
The breakfast isn't good either. Not worth the price.
On the plus side, the staff is nice and helpful, and the location is great (with restaurants, bars, and transport nearby). But the hotel is a dive.

Unfriendly and racist towards guests especially from Asia and Muslims.. Facilities are badly maintained, too small of a room for the price you're paying. Not recommended to anyone.

Very small rooms
Very small toilets
Very Limited breakfast options
Unfriendly Staff
Bad business etiquette for example, they don't allow residents a spare key .
Some Appliances in the room don't work.

I Hope not to stay here again..
