Clean and spacious, great value for money I will come back.
Pros:
+ Great location. It's right next to the Port Royal RER train station (also the same line to the airport) and a bus station. For the subway, you'll need to walk about 7 minutes. There are plenty of (good) restaurants nearby, and grocery shops, pharmacies, bakeries etc.
+ Friendly staff. They spoke English and they were very nice. I tried to get some restaurant recommendations, and they said a funny thing "Those that work in Paris, don't live in Paris."
+ View. Gorgeous view from the terrace. Unfortunately it was too cold in January to stay on the terrace in the mornings, but it was a nice view even from inside.
+ Room service. They tidied up the place each day, asked if we wanted fresh linen. Very friendly and organized.
+ Wifi. It was good enough for your social media needs, but don't expect to stream anything flawlessly.
Cons:
- Noise. The windows didn't make any difference in blocking traffic noises. At night, dozens of police cars and ambulances with sirens on passed by, and I mean constantly. Light sleepers beware. I am a light sleeper and I had to use earplugs to sleep.
- Low temperature. It didn't seem like the radiator worked fully when turned on, and it continuously ran water throught it, making an annoying noise. You can't sleep with the heat on throught the noise.
- Bathroom door. The door threshold was high, and the door was right next to the bed. So... you could hear everything.
- TV. Not really a con per say, it was a standard tv, not a smart tv, meaning no netflix. It had some french channels, everything in french.
