The hotel's services were terrible.

Simple hotel with a good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent place to stay for a week in Paris.

The room is relatively small; it's a bit cramped for two people. There's no hairdryer available; you'll need to go downstairs to borrow one.

A good budget hotel. Decent breakfasts for €10, considering that there aren’t many breakfast spots within a 3 km radius. Daily cleaning, fresh bed linen and towels every day. Close to the metro and tram stops.

Very good, convenient

The name says it all, it really is a budget ibis. The rooms are fine based on the price for them, the pillows are very soft, so keep in mind if you want a stiff pillow. The breakfast itself can be better, but the staff are incredible and very kind. Basically you get what you paid for.

It's near a metro station 4, so it's easily connectable to the whole of Paris.

It is remarkable hotel management accepts the receptionist be so rude and unwilling to help or try to reach a solution. I was told to figure it out myself why I had a booking confirmation, proof of payment and it didn’t match to what they had in their reservation system. If I booked through *******, I should sort it out with them and not hold the other guests up who wanted to check in. So he simply refused to check me in. If I were to treat a customer like this and talk the way he talked to me, I would get fired on the spot. Our assitant even tried calling him to send all documentation that we didn’t know why the name did not match their system and neither did ******* (who she contacted immediately) because they gave them the correct name. He told her to get off the phone because he didn’t have time to deal with her nonsense. She sent everything by email immediately and he didn’t even bother to reply to the email nor call back. OMG!

had a room for 2 people with a bunkbed.. so could sleep a kid as well.
Breakfast was ok but basic. Service was friendly. Good location since near the station of Port D'orleans.

Please, when booking this place, consider the 'Budget' aspect of the brand. This part alone defined my experience.

One night, I woke up, clutching at my chest, fanning myself as I experienced what one could describe as drowning in my own sweat. I felt my shirt cling to my skin as my half-asleep body struggled to comprehend the situation at hand. If you don't know what the placebo effect is, now is the time to learn - their air-conditioning system is a prime example. On the highest possible setting, it produces the most noise; however, the temperature of the room and the effectiveness of the appliance remain at the same level as without the air conditioner. It is so hot in the room that I now take frequent trips outside of my room, where I feel the cool ventilation that comes with being in a public setting. (Many take this for granted, but after this experience, you will definitely not be one of those many.) I hope that if you are lucky enough to experience this hotel's microclimate, you are in a room with a functioning window, allowing you to breathe the outside air.

I am what some call a 'social butterfly', and so I was honoured when given the opportunity to stay in a room with two of my other comrades. I was very excited, until I stepped foot in the room, realising there was as much available floor space as that of my homeland establishment's spare bathroom. To live comfortably for the week we had ahead of us, we rearranged the beds to accommodate ourselves, which was very successful, and we hope that the hotel continues to use the layout which we discovered - I will describe it below for any staff looking to improve.

The original layout (in the sleeping area, excluding the bathroom and entryway) consisted of a bunk bed, and perpendicular to that lay two single beds pushed together to form a double bed. I am not very keen to sleep in such close proximity to my colleagues (who I do not know so well as to roll over and look in the eye every night), so this would not do. We slid and shoved the lower single beds so that there was one directly below (and in line with) the bunk bed, and the other opposite, with around 30cm worth of mattress resting underneath what I would assume is a desk. The new layout is much better for non-intimate workplace relationships such as my own, and I hope the hotel can continue providing rooms like this for other clients.

In the end, as I write this, I think over my stay. "It wasn't actually that bad," I recollect, because there were no lies told, no beliefs altered, just the basic necessities needed to call your building a 'hotel'. The budget experience that is the Ibis Budget Porte d'Orléans.

Definitely puts the budget in ibis budget hotel. I know they can’t do much about this now but the design of these rooms is horrible. There is a lack of shelving/storage/room, and the shelving rack is placed directly behind the ladder to get to the top bed so you have to suck in your stomach to literally get into bed. There is a sink in the middle of the room and a mirror facing the shower? Who designed this??? The service is fine but I don’t know if they actually change my sheets or just make the bed. It’s near a metro so that’s good I guess. There is also mold in the shower by the way.
