Liked the proximity to the Grand Place and other restaurants and shopping. Upscale hotel. Bed was comfy. One of the individuals at reception had very poor English but tried hard. Air Conditioning was not effective. One of the dresser drawers was broken and wouldn't close and then the handle broke off. Mosquitos in the room (second floor). Coffee maker only dispensed small volumes of coffee.

The room was not ready on time and the clerk could not find our suitcase. The clerk at the reception said that the room was not paid and that I had to pay again! Finally I could prove that it was okay. Impossible to take a bath: a piece of the bath was broken and there was no hot water. Impossible to call the reception. The sound of the TV did not work. This hotel delivers what it promises. Great location, great service, beautiful room with all amenities, very clean and a perfectly balanced breakfast. It’s also surrounded by restaurants and brasseries Definitely suitable for a few days in Dunkirk. We will go back.

Only the negative for us was the breakfast. Was nowhere near as good as what some of the other reviews were saying. Could have been a lot more variety. Plus an extra coffee machine would avoid inpatient people.

Not a great location for a business stay. There was an event on that meant there was no access by road, eventually I managed to drive into the hotel and unload and find a parking space. The staff were apologetic but it took me an hour to navigate through the road closures. There was no air con and the breakfast was also poor. Not a great location for a business trip.

Very good hotel and staff. Near everything (metro, train, shooping, city center). Staff very responsive and willing to help you all the time, great amenities in the room. The only con is the acoustic isolation that allow some noises from neighbour rooms and from the hallway.

A beautiful hotel situated at the center of Lille. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! The room we had was great, but be aware of mosquitos in the summer when opening the windows. All-in-all we can really recommend staying here, price-quality is sublime.

We booked a one night stay at this hotel in August. The room was clean and quite spacious. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel which was very convenient (we paid 15 EUR for 30 hours of parking). The location is amazing, you walk right into the old city center of Lille. Service was excellent and breakfast was super delicious. Would definitely come back.

Great hotel, modern and great size rooms. Clara at the front desk was amazing and super helpful. Had great recommendations for us and made our stay more pleasant. Close to the city center so you can walk everywhere and very close to the train station. Would stay here again!

Good location with restaurants around. Basic facilities inside the room and it's fine for a short-stay. The hotel car-park is small and only a few parking lots available. Luckily can park on-street nearby.

Good Hotel, Quiet Location I stay here a few times a year. Rooms are a good size. Not luxurious but has the essentials and are clean and tidy. Town centre is 10 minute walk. Nice selection at breakfast.

The hotel is not in city center but near the motorway, easy parking, very few the good restaurant near to hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They have chairs. The breakfast was enough and fine.

Hotel fine, be aware of location. Hotel is exactly as you’d expect from an Ibis. It is a practical place to sleep. As the name makes clear it is right by the station. That is not a pleasant area and is at least a 15 minute walk from the beautiful centre of Bethune.

The hotel was great in every way except the death trap windows. Being up to five or six floors up, with windows that fully open, a step making them knee height and no locking facility, pretty scary with young kids. Thankfully they were able to relocate us to a low floor, hence still a good rating.

Practical one night stay Staff are great. IBIS are efficient and practical and redoubtably unglamorous.

It’s superbly located and is very clean and modern. Excellent shower and bedding. Lovely warm friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent with eggs, smoked salmon croissant granola and plenty of yoghurts and cheeses. Very pleased with our stay. The only issue is it may be slightly loud on the weekend as you are in a busy district but we kept the windows shut and AC on so it really was no trouble

Friendly staff, nice location. Sound insulation extremely poor, you’re literally sleeping on busy streets even wearing earplugs. Sleeping for 6+ hours is impossible. And I don’t know why Trip.com charges 27GBP per person breakfast, definitely don’t worth it.

The price-performance ratio is high, suitable for a family, the environment is very comfortable, the room is large, and the bathtub is very good, but the location is a distance from the city center, it would be more suitable to drive by yourself,

The breakfast was rich, the food in the freezer was free (5 bottles of drinks), and a piece of chocolate was given. The toiletries were from L'Occitane, the room was very clean, and the view outside the window was also very good. I was very satisfied and I would choose this hotel again next time I go on a business trip.

Superb hotel, I loved the decor. Lots of amenities nearby (shops, supermarket, etc.). The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming.

I have one word: location. It is perfect for walking around in the city, and there are some lovely shops around. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean. I cannot ask for more. Next time I will still book the same hotel. I had a lovely stay.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, always finding solutions for everything 😉😉☺️. Free parking is a shame, as you always have to remember to top up the meter, which isn't always convenient. A refrigerator in the room would be a nice addition. More comfort (an armchair, etc.) in the bar would create a cozier atmosphere. Having a coffee or tea machine available is a welcome touch ☺️

It is a very charming old style hotel located just on the opposite of the railways station. I really liked that vibe of the hotel and it has a nice restaurant with good and tasty cuisine in reasonable prices. There are a lot of public parking outside the hotel which is free at night. The rooms were clean and spacious and I really liked the style. I would definitely come back if going to Valenciennes

Very well-located hotel near the city center and Valenciennes train station. The spacious room. The only downside is that the mattress isn't at all comfortable; you can feel the iron when you sleep on it. Because of this, we had to change rooms after one night because the iron we felt on the mattress prevented us from sleeping properly.

It met my expectations. It was clean and tidy. The room was small but it was manageable. The choose of lighting was a little bad but nothing too serious. The only bad thing was curtain on the window. It was a type- of a scroll curtain and it did not let me choose length.

The room was better than expected, the front desk service was smooth, luggage can be stored for free after check-out, and hair dryers can also be obtained from the front desk. It was a very good experience and cost-effective

It was a bit expensive for what it was. Fairly basic but clean and ok. Staff were welcoming and friendly though. So that made up for it a bit. Good town centre location. Although no offense street parking. So leave before 9am or you will get a ticket or towed there.

This hotel is an amazing little Low Cost Gem, located really close to the town center and attractions of Calais which is a great place to visit and spend some time in. Have stayed here previously and enjoyed this place both times.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the city center, past the city hall. Parking is available at the shopping center across the street, which is convenient and inexpensive (we parked on Sunday evening and it cost about 8 euros by Monday noon).

Clean, comfortable, great view of the church, bathtub, beautiful breakfast room with delicious good value breakfast, very nice staff, perfectly iocated near the station and the pedestrianised town centre. The rooms are small but it doesn’t matter as we were out and about.

The hotel is located about 3 minutes by walking from the train station Lille Flandres. The staff is friendly. The room is clean. However, the bedsheet is not very comfortable. The room was a little warm for me. Other than that, it is a nice stay.

Lovely hotel in Dunkirk This is a stunner of a hotel right on the shore in Dunkirk. Lovely room and bar/lobby. Because we were on a roadtrip for F1 we had a car which was accommodated by the parking lot. (We had a Volvo XC60, and it was a bit of a squeeze even though not full, so best if you have a smaller car to maneuver.) You don’t want to stay here unless you have to. Very friendly service during Dour Festival: the cleaning ladies served us breakfast after the official hours. It’s in the middle of nowhere.

Disappointed with room size. Room was kept lovely and clean. Shower head only had one setting. One bed very squeaky. Loose legs. Staff Friendly.

We were happy with everything. Beds were comfortable, linens were nice. Rooms were clean. Great breakfast. The only thing that wasn't mentioned anywhere was that parking costs an extra €10. And there were plenty of parking spaces nearby on a Saturday.

The hotel is ideally located in the city centre. My single room was small, the shower cubicle even more so, but the bed was comfortable and it had a splendid view. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and the breakfast was excellent. It's a shame there are no public areas to speak of - just a few seats in the small reception area and no bar - but there's no shortage of bars, cafés and restaurants...
