Enjoyed a few days here recently, the hotel is in a great central location but best of all was the staffing of the hotel. Everybody was extremely polite, friendly and helpful at all times and made our stay very enjoyable!! Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Lille. Many thanks, Simon and Elaine.

Friendly guy dealt with us on arrival. Very handy that they have a car park,looks a bit imposing for some at first, I have a bigger car but managed just fine. Room is clean and modern with a great shower.

The hotel breakfast is average, it's purely for accommodation without any supporting facilities. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, but the surrounding environment is quite complicated. There are many homeless people and unconscious people, but they will not enter the hotel.

A truly great place to stay overnight while traveling. The location is close to the highway, with a great restaurant and outdoor pool for hot days. It is quite even if it is located close to the highway. The pool is brilliant and our room was freshly renovated. Others are in the way to be.

The hotel has a great location, very close to Lille Europe train station. The staff allowed early check-in when the room was ready, which was very helpful. After check-out, we could store our luggage at the hotel, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a convenient hotel with good service and reasonable price.

It’s good located near the Eurorail station and easy to walk to the town center for shopping and sightseeing

Hotel was clean and conveniently next to the shopping centre. On arrival, the night receptionist was a bit rude, but the staff at check out,a girl and a boy, were friendly and helpful. Overall, a decent stay

I had a very brief stay, checking in at 10pm and out at 7.30am, but the room was clean, bed comfortable, and the staff at the reception desk was very friendly.

Perfect hotel. Excellent service, room, and location. Special mention for the rooftop bar and the manager who welcomed, served, and advised us for several days. She even created several cocktails for the menu! The only downside to this hotel is the quality of the breakfast. It definitely needs improvement.

The hotel is truly fantastic: comfortable beds, a large shower, and a fantastic location were simply amazing! The rooftop terrace offers amazing views and delicious cocktails. An all-around wonderful stay.

The one star doesn't meet the expectations and is way overrated. The price we paid was for a 2/3 star restaurant not a one star Michelin. Nevertheless the staff is very helpful and the hotel accommodation is great as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The overall presentation of the hotel is excellent. No doubt, Clarance Hotel is the best address in Lille.

This is a lovely hotel in a lovely town centre. I was very impressed. The room was spotless, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Thank you for a great stay. The hotel is only a 15 minute spin to the ferry. We didn’t manage to get hotel parking, as it was already fully booked, but I parked on a nearby street and would have no hesitation in doing so again. Good location with restaurants around. Basic facilities inside the room and it's fine for a short-stay. The hotel car-park is small and only a few parking lots available. Luckily can park on-street nearby.

Liked the proximity to the Grand Place and other restaurants and shopping. Upscale hotel. Bed was comfy. One of the individuals at reception had very poor English but tried hard. Air Conditioning was not effective. One of the dresser drawers was broken and wouldn't close and then the handle broke off. Mosquitos in the room (second floor). Coffee maker only dispensed small volumes of coffee.

The room was not ready on time and the clerk could not find our suitcase. The clerk at the reception said that the room was not paid and that I had to pay again! Finally I could prove that it was okay. Impossible to take a bath: a piece of the bath was broken and there was no hot water. Impossible to call the reception. The sound of the TV did not work. This hotel delivers what it promises. Great location, great service, beautiful room with all amenities, very clean and a perfectly balanced breakfast. It’s also surrounded by restaurants and brasseries Definitely suitable for a few days in Dunkirk. We will go back.

I have had a short stay at this Borel Hotel, hotel looks very nice, clean and cozy, staff are offering excellent service are nice and wonderfull people there, always smiling and nice. They start to serve breakfast also from like 4 am which is not encountered on many hotels. I have forgotten my phone in the room and the staff were more than nice to send it back to me. Only the negative for us was the breakfast. Was nowhere near as good as what some of the other reviews were saying. Could have been a lot more variety. Plus an extra coffee machine would avoid inpatient people.

Good Hotel, Quiet Location I stay here a few times a year. Rooms are a good size. Not luxurious but has the essentials and are clean and tidy. Town centre is 10 minute walk. Nice selection at breakfast.

The hotel is not in city center but near the motorway, easy parking, very few the good restaurant near to hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They have chairs. The breakfast was enough and fine.

shower head was not good. It was always fall down. there was no slippers in the room. Visiters should take their slippers! why don't you get those? only 1-2$ on amazon. you have to pay extra money for the park area if you have own car. room was clean. hotel was silent. location of hotel is good.

Top service, all Colleges are professional and friendly. The room is nice and warming decorated. The breakfast has higher level as other 4 star hotel in EU. With the event going on across the street and the bad sound insulation, it was noisy until 1 in the morning.

Very good hotel and staff. Near everything (metro, train, shooping, city center). Staff very responsive and willing to help you all the time, great amenities in the room. The only con is the acoustic isolation that allow some noises from neighbour rooms and from the hallway.

We booked this hotel while passing by for the Olympics. The room was very small, but it had everything we needed.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at L'Arbre Voyageur in Lille, and I can't praise the experience highly enough. Hotel fine, be aware of location. Hotel is exactly as you’d expect from an Ibis. It is a practical place to sleep. As the name makes clear it is right by the station. That is not a pleasant area and is at least a 15 minute walk from the beautiful centre of Bethune.

The hotel was great in every way except the death trap windows. Being up to five or six floors up, with windows that fully open, a step making them knee height and no locking facility, pretty scary with young kids. Thankfully they were able to relocate us to a low floor, hence still a good rating.

Practical one night stay Staff are great. IBIS are efficient and practical and redoubtably unglamorous.

It’s superbly located and is very clean and modern. Excellent shower and bedding. Lovely warm friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent with eggs, smoked salmon croissant granola and plenty of yoghurts and cheeses. Very pleased with our stay. The only issue is it may be slightly loud on the weekend as you are in a busy district but we kept the windows shut and AC on so it really was no trouble

Friendly staff, nice location. Sound insulation extremely poor, you’re literally sleeping on busy streets even wearing earplugs. Sleeping for 6+ hours is impossible. And I don’t know why Trip.com charges 27GBP per person breakfast, definitely don’t worth it.

The price-performance ratio is high, suitable for a family, the environment is very comfortable, the room is large, and the bathtub is very good, but the location is a distance from the city center, it would be more suitable to drive by yourself,

The breakfast was rich, the food in the freezer was free (5 bottles of drinks), and a piece of chocolate was given. The toiletries were from L'Occitane, the room was very clean, and the view outside the window was also very good. I was very satisfied and I would choose this hotel again next time I go on a business trip.

Superb hotel, I loved the decor. Lots of amenities nearby (shops, supermarket, etc.). The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming.

I have one word: location. It is perfect for walking around in the city, and there are some lovely shops around. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean. I cannot ask for more. Next time I will still book the same hotel. I had a lovely stay.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, always finding solutions for everything 😉😉☺️. Free parking is a shame, as you always have to remember to top up the meter, which isn't always convenient. A refrigerator in the room would be a nice addition. More comfort (an armchair, etc.) in the bar would create a cozier atmosphere. Having a coffee or tea machine available is a welcome touch ☺️

It is a very charming old style hotel located just on the opposite of the railways station. I really liked that vibe of the hotel and it has a nice restaurant with good and tasty cuisine in reasonable prices. There are a lot of public parking outside the hotel which is free at night. The rooms were clean and spacious and I really liked the style. I would definitely come back if going to Valenciennes

Very well-located hotel near the city center and Valenciennes train station. The spacious room. The only downside is that the mattress isn't at all comfortable; you can feel the iron when you sleep on it. Because of this, we had to change rooms after one night because the iron we felt on the mattress prevented us from sleeping properly.

It’s a 3 star hotel, good value for money. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable to 3star standard. Bathroom good also. Shame just one tea bag each, nothing else. Location fab for everything.

Room was nice and cosy, I had a very good sleep. Breakfast was lovely too. The lady noticed that I really liked drinking the milk they had so she refilled my glass more than once even when breakfast session was about to end. The hotel is at a super duper convenient location. I managed to visit all the attractions I wanted to visit by walking. I’m really glad that I picked Hotel Chagnot.

Clean hotel, good reception. We had to use the ironing board which was very tiny. I would advise getting something of a normal size, because the iron looks like a toy and also irons like a toy. Great location and good price.

Had a really nice stay for Braderie weekend. Well worth buying breakfast and starting your day with the amazing view over the square. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No problem at all.

The service was very good, but the room didn't have an air conditioner, only a fan. It wasn't too hot, which was good, but it was sometimes uncomfortable during the day or when sleeping.

If you're driving, it's a good choice. Parking is free and the location is not difficult to find. Breakfast is cheap, but the food and drinks are good. The room size is acceptable and can open two suitcases.

Affordable choice, the room is not big but it is enough, very clean. The parking lot should be sufficient. After 10 o'clock, you need to use a code to enter and exit, but the code was given incorrectly. Fortunately, there were cars entering behind me.

Price should come into consideration here. The hotel itself was not something I would go back to. But, plus points are: It is in the center of the town. Private parking at only 3.00 Euro is a steal, as you need it.

It met my expectations. It was clean and tidy. The room was small but it was manageable. The choose of lighting was a little bad but nothing too serious. The only bad thing was curtain on the window. It was a type- of a scroll curtain and it did not let me choose length.

Great stay overall! The location was excellent and made it easy to get around. The room was spacious, very clean, and the shower was especially comfortable. One detail I really loved was the coffee machine added to the room—it was such a nice touch and made mornings much better. Would definitely stay here again!

Very pleased with our stay at Boa Hotel. The room was lovely and clean. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They were able to recommend some restaurants for dinner, which were within walking distance (20 mins). Hotel location was just 10 mins from Eurostar station and just 5 mins to the shopping areas. All in all, I would happily stay here again.
