Stayed here because dogs are allowed (extra 7-9€/day). Rooms are outdated and WiFi sucked. Rooms weren’t totally soundproof, so my dog was a bit on edge from all the sounds. Pros: Location, price, and spacious rooms. Cons: Internet is essentially none (at least in my room) and rooms are outdated (bit of an old carpet smell).

We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and well presented, everything was perfectly functional. The furnishings are ageing, but remain in good order. The hotel and surrounding area were quiet and peaceful and the town was easily accessible on foot, even more so by bike. The front desk was very helpful and welcoming. Was a great night,   I arrived later, searching for hotel at last minute,   Then went there and at the reception the man asked for 50 euro deposit,, i had only 100, but then he gave mi back at next morning,,    Hotel Was clean, fresh and sleeping very well,,

The receptionist saved us when we were looking for emergency accomodation in the middle of the night, exhausted from many days of driving. Checked us in, helped carry our bags and calm us down. Our unplanned stay in Dunkerque started as a disaster but ended in a calm night with quick and friendly room service. Thank you!

A couple took a self-driving tour along the WWII route and stopped at the Dunkirk evacuation site. The hotel is in a good location and is within walking distance of various attractions. The WWII 1942 Museum is worth a visit.

The apartment was just amazing. Funky, stylish and clean. A perfect base for some Lille exploring. Accessible from the train station and an easy wander into the old town. The hosts were lovely too. Very accommodating and friendly.

Absolutely stunning apartments. Got an upgrade on arrival to the 3 floor mega apartment. The best place we have ever stayed easily and really well priced! Staff are super friendly and location is amazing. No complaints at all. Recommend 110%.

Good room size, do check before if booking a double that you do not end up with a twin. The hotel has a great location, very close to Lille Europe train station. The staff allowed early check-in when the room was ready, which was very helpful. After check-out, we could store our luggage at the hotel, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a convenient hotel with good service and reasonable price.

Easy, friendly check in, was shown to the lift and told which way to go. Room was in the French style, on the 5th floor, with reduced height ceiling between the dormers, but which did not interfere with circulation. Beware, rude treatment at this hotel I had booked a deluxe double room with a city view. When I arrived that afternoon, the reception clerk was extremely abrupt and rude to me, for seemingly no reason except he appeared overworked. Jewel of an apartment. It is about 15 minutes from the train stations on foot. It is close to shopping and old Lille. The beds were comfortable and the toilet was large and well organized. I would definitely stay here again (it is my second time).

Great choice. Ideal location in the old town, and only 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, allowing me to practise my beginners French. Special mention for receptionist Manu - he is a real star. Well be back!!

Hotel is very close to train station which facilitate the travel by train but takes at least 10 to 15 minutes walk to nearby restaurants. Hotel room arranged for us is spacious. Simple breakfast with not many choice, but it is delicious.

Have just returned home. Stayed three nights at this hotel and really enjoyed it. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom lovely and clean with super hot water for the shower. Breakfast was .very good, an excellent amount of choice. The staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stay. Also price really good for what you get.

A very good overnight stay at the Metropol We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Metropol. The room was clean, fresh and comfy. We had a good nights sleep. The staff were great and the breakfast was very good, thank you.

Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, excellent breakfast including a cooked breakfast. The staff are very helpful. It's a ten minute walk from the town centre and all the bars and restaurants. Plus it's free parking outside. Used calais as a base to visit places of interest in the area.

Ok for one night. It was cheap and basic. Didn’t feel clean but it was fine for one night. It had a kettle which was lovely and reception was almost friendly.

Some of the group struggled with the rooms being too hot and could not seem to adjust. no servicing of rooms while we were there but maybe this is the normal arrangement? The hotel was nice and a good price. Good location in the center of the city. Of course this means it is in the center of the city, so you have to be ok with some noise and bustle, but we found it very convenient and the staff was very good about answering questions and giving us recommendations for restaurants and directions. Over all, it was a good hotel!

Regarding the kettle and coffee, there was no kettle in the room, but other hotels have them available to customers.

The hotel is on a noisy street, when entering the bathroom there was a piece of toilet paper on the floor. Quite noisy, the walls are made of cardboard, plus the noise from the street. The price is very high. The room is small

I arrived at 11 PM. The self-check-in process was simple and convenient; I just entered my name to find my booking. The room was clean, and although it wasn't large, the shower and toilet were separate, which was excellent for the price.

The location is perfect but even if it looks renovated, the floor creaks when you walk. You can tell its old. Bad smell coming from the bathroom. The bed is not inviting for a rest and cn hear all the noise  not just from the outside but from all the adjacent rooms.

The location is absolutely 100% perfect. It’s right opposite the train station. It has an elevator. It’s also new. It looks like it’s been renovated. I think the biggest drawback is that the service attitude is really bad. When I stored my luggage, there was no space. I could only store it behind the bar in the restaurant on the first floor. The waiters were the front desk staff. I found it very confusing...

I was well received at the reception. But the cleanliness needs to be reviewed... There were marks on the walls, on the curtains, the dust under the bed is not removed... the shower door seal does not close... Otherwise the position of the hotel is very good opposite the station, on the other hand remember to reserve a parking space because it is not included in the reservation!

There are quite a few hotels like this in this area. The restaurant is on the lower floor, and you check in and out there. When there was no one at the counter, an older woman eating there told me what to do. The building is old, so it has been repaired very nicely. I don't know what they really think, but they were very cheerful.

Location is amazing. Train station is 1 minute away. City center is about 10 minutes walk. View is also very nice. The staff is great. The room is very tidy, cozy and comfortable and it has everything you could need. There's no elevator so that may be an issue for those with a lot of laguage and / or heavy laguage. I'm very satisfied and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. No lift so had to climb 23/25 stairs to get to reception. The man in reception was nice the room was clean the toilet was really small and shower was not accessible. While the gentleman was nice I wouldn’t stay here again.

No fresh bedding or towels during my entire stay. Although the bed was made every day, the sheets were not changed for 5 days, nor were the towels.

As far as 3 star hotels go, this is one of the best I've stayed in. Convenient location, everything as described. Only potential issue is the stairs are extremely narrow and there's no lift. Wasn't a problem for me, but definitely could be for anyone with mobility issues.

Even better than expected, very clean and quiet Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We were lucky to find a parking slot just outside, free of charge. The room was quite compact but was well maintained and spotless, facing the innner courtyard so guaranteed a good sleep. Bathroom looked like freshly refurbished and super clean, with strong shower pressure. Locationwise, it's close to good bakeries...

The property is very clean, the room was aswell. The owners are very friendly and ready to help. The area, close to the beach, is one of the best in the Dunkerque area. I just miss the possibility to get a herbal tea or coffee in the common area.

This is a nice hotel. It is very convenient for the city centre, but you get what you pay for. It was an economical choice and that shows. I stayed for two nights and that was fine. Longer, and I would have unhappy. It may have just been my room, but I would hear everyone else’s plumbing, whether that was shower at one in the morning, or a bath at five in the morning, hence, not much sleep. But...

If you're driving, it's a good choice. Parking is free and the location is not difficult to find. Breakfast is cheap, but the food and drinks are good. The room size is acceptable and can open two suitcases.

Affordable choice, the room is not big but it is enough, very clean. The parking lot should be sufficient. After 10 o'clock, you need to use a code to enter and exit, but the code was given incorrectly. Fortunately, there were cars entering behind me.

Price should come into consideration here. The hotel itself was not something I would go back to. But, plus points are: It is in the center of the town. Private parking at only 3.00 Euro is a steal, as you need it.

I forgot few of my very good books at the hotel and reached airport, I called back just to tell them that "I have forgotten few of my books, could you please give those books in charity or to some library" The other guy replied to me saying "that's none of his business, come back tomorrow and collect. Excellent stay for our wedding anniversary. Room tastefully decorated. Clean and comfortable establishment. The spa included in the reservation ended up relaxing us. Good hearty breakfast. We had a gift voucher for one night with breakfast. We booked on the website and had to pay. Refusal of the owner to use the voucher afterwards! Very disappointed with this fact. Forced sale! We booked a one night family suite getaway from 5-6 April. After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit reluctant but the stay way exceeded our expectations. This is an unbelievable facility! Check out the history of the extensive renovation of this historic hospital. Every room and space is palatial and the spa pool is amazing. Good breakfast and in-house bar and restaurants. A good value if you stay at least 3 days.

Nice Place To Stay This is a nice hotel in the centre of Bethune. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The bar and restaurant are excellent. Parking is available nearby and is not too expensive for a central location. All in all a nice place to stay
