Restaurant was amazing - food was sensational, flavours were bursting, very generous portions and well presented. Central Location This is a basic hotel which will meet most needs for a short stay in the city. Very close to the metro and walking distance to many of the sites.

Ideally located, not too far from the city center and close to the metro. The area was lively upon my arrival but very quiet at night.

We have used The hotel H eco several times before. The rooms are usually quite nice for a 1 night stopover. They are clean but basic which is just enough. This time however, we arrived at midnight, used the codes to get in and found the room. There seemed to be quite a few men just hanging around, windows open, loud conversation and music going on. Great price hotel has a great bus route close by (The number 8 bus). Takes you straight into Amiens Town Centre.

Very handy after getting off the ferry from Dover. Easy check in, breakfast was 5 euros. Probably best to find a supermarket. Clean room, plenty of space for me and a bike.

The breakfast is amazing, it's the first hotel in France we've found to offer full English which was delicious along with all the other food that was on offer. It’s a 3 star hotel, good value for money. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable to 3star standard. Bathroom good also. Shame just one tea bag each, nothing else. Location fab for everything.

Room was nice and cosy, I had a very good sleep. Breakfast was lovely too. The lady noticed that I really liked drinking the milk they had so she refilled my glass more than once even when breakfast session was about to end. The hotel is at a super duper convenient location. I managed to visit all the attractions I wanted to visit by walking. I’m really glad that I picked Hotel Chagnot.

Clean hotel, good reception. We had to use the ironing board which was very tiny. I would advise getting something of a normal size, because the iron looks like a toy and also irons like a toy. Great location and good price.

Had a really nice stay for Braderie weekend. Well worth buying breakfast and starting your day with the amazing view over the square. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No problem at all.

The service was very good, but the room didn't have an air conditioner, only a fan. It wasn't too hot, which was good, but it was sometimes uncomfortable during the day or when sleeping.

A lovely charming hotel, perfectly located right in the heart of Lille. The breakfast was quite standard, and the extra charge for eggs felt a bit steep for my taste. However, they offered a great selection of artisanal jams. Definitely recommended.

Our first impression of the hotel was very good thanks to the friendly welcome by the reception staff. The room was a good size, modern and very comfortable, with enough space for all of our stuff. The free drink if you forego cleaning during your stay was a very nice touch. The only downsides were the rather thin walls and the fairly limited breakfast. The hostel was good. Nice kitchen, nice breakfast area, good breakfast. I liked the strong coffee at breakfast, but the young woman who worked at 12 December, made horrible weak coffee at breakfast. Also in the expresso machine she made bad weak coffee, not like the other colleagues. Lille is a beautiful city for a city trip, especially around Christmas.

Location is good, there is a bus stop nearby. Room is clean and has a comfort room and shower inside. They offer food at the lobby. The beds have curtains so it’s great.

We stayed here for a night during transit to Paris. Rooms are cute: small, but cozy. Breakfast was bad, to be honest. No eggs, no vegetables, no meat. Personal was rude and not friendly for our group when not allowing us to sit on tables with sofas ("It's only for VIPs!!") and not allowing us to take away any food (bread slices, f.e.).

Struggled to find anywhere in the vicinity. I have used a Brit Hotel before which appeared to be an old Confort Hotel. This is directly opposite the Notre Dame church. Easy walking to the city centre. It’s 2* so it’s not a Mercury or Novotel but it was clean and convenient. Price was good.

The garden is delightful in summer, ita right across form the beautiful cathedral, and the extensive range of the services are 24hours. The hotel is across from the train station and a cinema with a lot of places around to eat and have a drink. It can be noisy in the morning when freight trains pass but if you're sound asleep, you'll probably won't even notice it. There's no parking of the hotel but you can park for free on the street during night time or for free on the train station parking lot.

Very easy as we arrived late. Room smelt of chips maybe from the restaurant downstairs but for a family room it was really well laid out with a double bed and a screen door between this and 2 single beds. A great place to stay, quirky art decorations by the artist owner, you cant walk through any room without stopping and exploring. Very well priced. We were made to feel really welcome. Will definately go back! Plenty of parking and lovely gardens to explore too.

The whole place invites you to relax. The decor is quite unique. Breakfast perfect. It's impossible not to recommend.

Loved our stay. Sure, the floors are a bit crooked and noise travels quite a lot through the rooms. but hey, what can you expect from a genuine 500 year old place? The entire place breathes history and the room we had was actually quite spacious. Staff was also nice. Just come here with the right mindset. If you care for yet another sterile environment, this place might not be for you.

This is a delightful old inn with an excellent restaurant. Parking in the spaces outside the hotel was free on Sunday until 9am Monday. Downside was we were told their Wi-Fi did not work on iPhones and the shower attachment did not work properly in room 1
