My stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, nestled in Nice’s Carré d’Or, was pure bliss. Just steps from the Promenade des Anglais, the location is unbeatable. My Deluxe room was incredibly spacious, big, and super comfy, with a plush bed and sleek marble bathroom. The staff, were warm and attentive, making every moment seamless. Pet-friendly perks and a fair-trade espresso machine added a special touch. This elegant, modern haven is a Riviera gem—I’m already dreaming of my next visit! 🤩

The hotel is in a good location and the stay was good.
Although the check-in time was more than an hour late, I got a drink voucher.
Also, I lost a mobile phone in the hotel, and they found it in time and sent it back to China for me. The service was good.

The room cleaning is so bad for such an expensive room rate. On the second day, they forgot to put coffee cups, coffee capsules, and breakfast delivery cards. On the third day, they forgot again. What's even more outrageous is that the shower head was broken and was placed directly on the sink... Every time I come back from the beach, I have to call to tell them about these small things. I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and there was no sign of cleaning the bathroom floor and the bedroom floor

Great hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.
3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it).
4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock.
Clearly some teething issues with this new hotel, understaffed and poor communication and training. A few excellent staff too. But seemed to lack any meaningful or visible leadership in key client facing areas, which the brigade seemed to need.

Wow! What a hotel! Exemplary from start to finish and activities spectacular. Breakfast is expensive but well worth it! Definitely the hotel to stay at in Nice!

Brand new hotel (renovated)on posh street overlooking beautiful Côte d’Azur. Rooftop restaurant Seen is popular and buffet breakfast is amazing. Room is not that big like their booking photo but nice stay overall.

Overall, the hotel looks tired but is nicely situated. The gym is like a warehouse not conducive for exercise. The breakfast buffet area was littered with scraps and dirt (though I was the first guest). The soundproofing needs to be improved (I could hear my neighbors talking). The room I was staying at had no desk, I had to sit on the floor and use the bed as desk. I appreciate the large bathroom though and the balcony with the ocean view.
