Crisol Promenade in Nice

This is not a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn but it is clean, functional and comfortable. The beach and the fabulous Promenade Anglais are 100 yards away and the stop for the tram (town and the airport directions) is about the same. We are in town visiting relatives and we like it !

It’s close to the sea and Tran station, but the building in front of it( between the sea and hotel) is under construction.

One have to understand that this is a rather old and somewhat worn hotel with no restaurant or breakfast room. The breakfast is standard "french" with a croissant, a peace of baguette, butter, marmalade, a small orange juice and a coffee or tea. It is served in the room. This works fine for us.
The best with this hotel is the location just 30 meters behind the Promenade and if you book with balcony you have a nice view of the sea.
We found the staff very friendly and they speaks english.
On the ground floor of the building lies Brasserie le Magnan that serves "value for money" meals or you walk 1 km (12-15 minutes) east on Rue de France to Chez Loulou on 15 Rue Saint Philippe.
We will definitely stay again if in Nice.

I enjoyed my stay a lot the hotel.

In terms of price and location, the hotel is only a minute or two away from the beach. My room had portion seaview and was clean and tidy. Although the room was a bit dated but its good enough for the price you pay.

I went to the hotel's manager one evening as I accidentally broke my camera and he was very helpful and offered to fix it for me.

The service was fast and the food was amazing
