Don’t come here if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation! Rooms are clean, but you can tell that they haven’t been upgraded in a long time as they are run down. A really great hotel indeed. It has huge rooms definitely fit for more than the people assigned to it. A balcony with a view of the Black sea. And if you don't want to go to the sea there is a big pool downstairs. The breakfast was OK. Definitely not as good as the rooms but acceptable.

I like hotel very much, staff was very kind. Room was clean, breakfast was good. Restaurant food was not bad. Prices are too hight. Maid didn’t clean toilet properly. I recommend this hotel.

The best hotel in the village of Kvariati in Georgia. The water on the beach is very clean, which cannot be said about Batumi !! The hotel has its own restaurant by the sea. The menu is national. Live music. Friendly staff. Everything is super !! Were in 2017 in the summer with a child. We really enjoyed.

Visited for lunch with group of friends. We were greeted by a lovely chef Denis who couldn’t be more helpful. Food was freshly cooked and delicious, great authentic Georgian experience! The staff spoke limited English but it wasn’t a problem at all. Would recommend!

They celebrated a child's birthday there. There were quite a few guests. Liked very much.

Hotel Mandarin Gonio is a comfortable and lovely place to say. I can't say enough about it! The decor is so pretty and classy that it's a pleasure to just walk in the room, and yet everything is pretty sturdy and kid-friendly. The rooms have balconies with a little table and chairs, and a drying rack, convenient for wet swimsuits and other clothes. We often left the balcony doors open in both bedrooms...

Everything is fine except the view from the window, also, if you have booked a full board, do not expect much for dinner.

I definitely recommend this hotel! The rooms are clean, with no musty smell (common in subtropical climates). Towels are changed daily, and bed linens are changed twice a week. Room descriptions are accurate. You can cook your own meals. The hostess offers laundry and dishwashing services at no extra charge. Very clean and comfortable room with mountain view. In the garden, you can pick hazelnuts, have a barbecue or cook dinner in the shared kitchen. Sea across the road. Many thanks to the hostess for the comfort. I recommend.

Very pleasant place! Came for three days and stayed for a week. It seems, nothing special: rather old-fashioned rooms, with shabby furniture. But! Very spacious and, in fact, very comfortable! I was pleased with the opportunity to watch TV and work in one room of the room, and sleep in another. With a child, this is simply irreplaceable! Really loved that place. My room had veautiful view to the sea. It was clean and had air conditioning. The staff was kind and helpful, though they didn't speak langueges, they always tried to solve everything. The hotel also has a restaurant, the food is pretty awsome, the service was excellent.

High-quality mini hotel, large rooms, well-working bathrooms. Giant balconies, sometimes as much as 2 per room.

The food is excellent, the room is clean and cozy, the hostess is very kind and welcoming, and you can't hear the road noise even from the balcony. By the way, my avatar is from Gonio Fortress; I haven't changed it since 2015.

The hotel management creates a lasting impression. They're the kind of people who can overlook minor flaws and still write so many positive things about the hotel, such as the delicious breakfasts, the secure parking, the friendly staff, and the clean rooms. We checked in with our children at 1 a.m. and were treated like family. While we were looking for a cafe and eating at night, they didn't abandon...

You can see on the pictures the real view. Except that, there was the odor in the room, I think because of the carpets. The window in the bathroom didn’t work properly. The balcony is not real balcony, where you can sit and enjoy, the view was on the wall of another building. Good location and nice garden area behind the building. Breakfast is ok.

A small hotel in Gonio, about 16 rooms, on a quiet street parallel to the main street. Quiet is relative though, with hardly any street noise, but hotel after hotel is springing up in this once very sleepy village near the border with Turkey. In addition to the Orange, however, only minor work was taking place at similarly small hotels, and it was quiet in the evenings. But then the hotel's own rooster...

Visited this place 2 years ago (not really sure how it looks like now / March 2019). Away from luxury and what a 5 star hotel could be fancy about, this place is like home and the people working in it are like family. Amazing place with a wonderful view. Most importantly, are the very friendly staff.

Sadly NO Wi-Fi connection in Junior suite.... but we were immediately moved to a standard room with connection. Generally weak Wi-Fi around 0,9-0,2 Mbit/s.
