Era Palace Hotel in Gonio

This was the worst hotel I have ever been in. We intended to stay for 5 days and they asked us to pay in advance! On the fifth day, I had an emergency and had to return home (health issues). My husband and I asked to take 25 percent and return the rest money, but they refused, which is very bad behavior. Besides, there was no shampoo in the room and no internet. Breakfast was terrible. We had to wait for the elevator for a long time. The room was very small and the music and noise at night were horrible. Never going there.

I was on vacation July 5-10. First time in Georgia. A small hotel with beautiful views of the sea. The room itself is nice. There is no safe. There is no hair conditioner. Breakfast is very poor from 9-11, when you arrive at 10 there will be almost nothing. And yes, as everyone writes, it is noisy, because right next to the hotel the music plays until 24, sometimes it ends later (earplugs help). There is a construction site of a neighboring hotel nearby, it is wall to wall. The dust and the view are very unpleasant. The beaches are not bad. Sunbeds 5-10 GEL, depending on where you go. Showers are 2 GEL, but you have to look at them directly 😅🙈 they showed me on the day of departure, I wouldn’t have noticed it myself. I bought corrals, it’s impossible to walk on me with bare feet with cobblestones. But this is everywhere in Batumi. If you leave in the evening or after 12, it is important: there is no place to change clothes, nowhere to wash, there is no special place for suitcases/things (you can just leave them next to the reception) as a result: I will return to Batumi, but not to this hotel. This is not a 4, this is an average 3

I've visited over 650 cities in 80 countries on 6 continents and this is a very terrible hotel with very appalling and poor customer service. No restaurant available and served cold food at breakfast, area surrounding hotel and roads are very poor, dilapidated, and run down. The hotel room fridge and mini bar didn't work, hair dryer didn't work, no iron available, no room service. The door locks didn't work they had to issue us a key, security lock didn't work, no safe in room. Everyone working at hotel had a terrible unfriendly personality and checkout was a disaster, give yourself 45 minutes to check out of this hotel.

Location of this hotel is absolutely bad. It looks amazing on inages. Don't let that fool you. The price is decent. Locals aren't ready for tourists and tourism in general. They would eat you with their eyes. Stay in Batumi. Breakfast wasn't serving all kind of type of people. Coffee was good. No English language is spoken here. You may need Google Translate.
