The Onyx City Center Hotel is a stylish and well-located hotel in the heart of Tbilisi. The rooms are modern and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, there are two drawbacks: the breakfast isn't up to par with a five-star hotel, and the shower design causes water to leak out, making the bathroom very wet. Despite this, the hotel remains a good choice for a city break.

First of all, the hotel has a great location, nestled against the mountains and overlooking the water. The breakfast is also very plentiful, and I highly recommend the pizza, it's delicious.

The scenery is unbeatable. It is cost-effective to stay here in the summer. The temperature difference between morning and night is big, so you have to wear cotton clothes. You can take pictures of the golden mountain in the sunrise from the room.

This is quite a remarkable resort in a country still trying to free itself from the long shadow of former Soviet domination. The setting is pristine, with a beautiful lake and extensive grounds. There are multiple recreational options available and multiple dining choices as well. Service is first rate. Incredible, unique stay! It the middle with old Tbilisi, located on a hill and has a beautiful view of the city. The pool is 24/7 so we were able to take a midnight swim. Yes, the Soviet-style sanatorium is very distinctive and unique, and the freely available vinyl records and books are nice. However, the service was truly disappointing. Perhaps because of my Asian face, they thought I had sneaked in, as they questioned me about my purpose and room number, haha. Fantastic experience. We arrived at 9am and they immediately checked us in and made an upgrade to an amazing executive suite. The hotel has a great location, right near the beach, with plenty of convenience stores downstairs. Getting to the airport, train station, and bus station by taxi is very convenient. A friendly reminder: the bus to Tbilisi takes 6-7 hours and only stops once.

The room was small, and the surrounding area was rather chaotic. Overall, this Wyndham hotel was just average. It's also quite far from Batumi's main attractions. It's not good value for money and not worth recommending. Ctrip advertised laundry service, but it's actually chargeable and not self-service.
