Theory Hotel in Tbilisi

We have been at this hotel before and enjoyed it very much that we always recommend it to friends because of the great service, good food and location. I have to say that this time, I am dissapointed. We reserved 2 rooms for 7 nights & 9 nights, ouselves and my stepson and his fiancee ( their first trip oversees ). We arrived at 02:00 , so had to pay an extra night - which I have no trouble with, but there are issues that I had and requested to speak to the manager of the hotel, the staff very kindley said they would pass the request forward...but up untill now that we're still at the hotel, we have not been contacted by the manager. The issues we have; 1) we orderd room service from the restaurant ( 2 shniztel) wich arrived cold and was very dry ( I say this as a former cook & Food and Beverage Manager in the hotel industry) so I know when food is dry. We sent it back and asked to make a new order, we were informed by the waitress that the cook said it is OK and is not willing to remove it from the cheque and if we refuse to pay, the waitress said she will be charged. THAT IS NOT THE WAY TO SPEAK TO A GUEST. I say this, but I have to say that the restaurant manageress is a very good person and always treated us well with a smile. 2) My stepson and his fiancee checked out today from their room after 7 nights and truethfully told the reception clerk that they used the minibar - and willingly payed for the beverages they took. They checked out and we went to eat lunch, we returned after an hour and the reception clerk said we forgot something, I thought maybe a shirt.....BUT something completely different!! My stepson's fiancee had a natural accident ( her period) which sullied the pillow case....the reception clerk continued to say this and show us the sullied pillow case and insisted we pay for the pillow case!! THIS IS UNACEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR. IT IS A DELICATE ISSUE WHICH SHOULD BE DEALT WITH DESCRETLY AND NOT PUBLICALY!!! we payed the amount. 3) I requested late check out on the day we leave because we have to leave for the airport in the evening - we were refused. but I can surely say that we will not recommend this hotel to anyone. We are still at the hotel but when we leave - it will be the last time.

The hotel is in a very noisy area. You cannot sleep in your room if it is facing the main road which is busy 24x7. The staff is rude and the breakfast is mediocre for the money they charge. This is NOT a 5 star hotel. Maybe 2* at best
