Guesthouse Elli in Kazbegi

Really really disappointed with the jacuzzi we almost wasted 2-3 hours to just get that started. But the water coming out of it was very very bad. It was just a waste of time and why can’t they check and give the rooms when they are charging so much premium on this rooms. Very very disappointed. Please do not book rooms anyone.

The location of the guesthouse is scenic, which is a plus. However, there are quite a few issues that need to be addressed. The owners does not seem to be trained in hospitality.
This can be problematic for guests who are looking for a professional level of service.

The lack of professionalism extends to the behavior of the guesthouse owner. Although she met you to take the room rents, she was never available when needed. This can be frustrating for guests who need assistance or have questions about their stay.

Another problem with the guesthouse is the lack of amenities. There was no breakfast provided, no toiletries, and not even enough quilts in the room to keep you warm. Additionally, there was no provision for food or room service, we had to walk to the market late at night to buy groceries for breakfast. This can be inconvenient, especially for families with children.

Finally, the lack of water bottles and the need to drink tap water without knowing whether it is safe or not is a major concern. This is something that the guesthouse should have addressed to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests.

Overall, while the location of Guesthouse Elli is scenic, it seems that there are too many problems with the service, amenities, and behavior of the owner to make it a good choice for a holiday stay.
