Reviews
It's a bit dark in the room. You can smell the musty smell of the old building. The building is very old. Parquet floors. Soundproofing is terrible. It's a safe place. The hotel is on a pedestrian street. I couldn't get any sleep in two nights because people were partying under my windows until 3 a.m. every night. Upon check-in, they gave me some soap and some strange shampoo and gel (I didn't use it). No one came into the room for two days, and the trash, etc., weren't taken out. There's a refrigerator, but I had to turn it off because of the noise. There's a kettle, but it's never been cleaned. There are no cups or glasses. The sheets are a bit short and expose the mattress. They use a sheet instead of a duvet cover, which means the unwashed blanket will be in contact with your body. The pillows are old and uncomfortable. The internet is good. The shower is in the bathroom, without a curtain, door, or anything, meaning water runs onto the floor next to the toilet and sink. The floor isn't just wet, it's like a pool of water. The shower pressure is incredibly weak, making it difficult to wash your hair. There's a kitchen with a gas stove, washing machine, and refrigerator.
The location was good. The hotel was located on a safe, upscale street, with several restaurants across the street.
The hotel was shabby. The entrance looked like a construction site being demolished.
The staff were friendly. Most of the staff seemed to be men with long hair. They occasionally left the front desk for cigarette breaks, so be sure to look for them if you need them.
There was a shared kitchen and washing machine. The shared kitchen was quite dirty, with guests leaving food uneaten, cooking utensils unwashed, and food left in the refrigerator. There were piles of towels left in the washing machine basket.
The room was small, consisting of a bedroom, toilet, and shower room. There was no drinking water or slippers. Only bath towels and mini towels were provided. I stayed for four days, and they never changed them. The shower floor got soaked after one shower and took a long time to dry. Please be careful as it can get slippery. The air conditioning worked well.
The walls are thin. You can hear people talking outside. At night, the streets and restaurants outside get lively and noisy. You can also hear dogs barking often.
On the third day of my stay at this hotel, the water went out. The sink and toilet wouldn't flush at all, which was a problem. I told a staff member and they said it would be restored at 11pm, so they filled the toilet tank with water so that the toilet would flush temporarily and I could use it. They seemed very used to it, so it seems like the water outage is normal. Please be careful. It was eventually fixed around 6pm.
I won't be staying at this hotel again the next time I visit Georgia. However, it would probably be a good choice for people who don't want to spend a lot of money on hotels.
The room was also excellent considering the value for money.
It was compact, but clean, and had a lovely room with morning sunlight streaming in!
The receptionist was quick to answer my questions,
and very helpful (a true friendly hotel!). All the places they recommended were great.
The only downside was that I could hear the voices from next door!
There is a shared kitchen with everything you need, as well as a washing machine.
The hotel's feature is a well-appointed balcony where you can have breakfast/drink wine.
The admins are friendly Russian-speaking guys, special thanks to Luka for navigating the city.
In general, we were satisfied with everything. Not without flaws, but price-quality 👍🫶
The hotel did not have an elevator, and there was no one there at check-in or check-out, so it was difficult to carry heavy luggage.
There was only one toilet and shower, so after taking a shower, my feet would get wet every time I went to the toilet, which was a problem.
However, the rooms on the second floor were surprisingly comfortable.
