This is a very old and outdated hotel. However, that being said, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice as well. It is also located in a great walkable area.

The room felt like it was back from the 60s with shag carpets that I didn’t trust. The bed was not comfortable and squeaky. No air conditioning but with window open the noise was excessive. The front desk lady was not pleasant at check in but at check out, we had a different lady who was very sweet.

Pleasant stay
Pleasant stay overall! Very clean and comfortable except that the beds were very very firm/hard. Also the A/C seems more like a fan than traditional cooling. Fortunately the weather was cool and breezy so we were able to open the windows.

Staff very nice.
Parking very good.
BUT…Room 354 sad…it was awful, old terrible fixtures/fittings very worn, very hard single mattresses pushed together for a double (first time I’ve had a back ache from a hotel)
Horrible really nasty thick very very old carpet. Probably very high end 30 years ago! Sadly in our room zero investment made.
No coffee/tea facilities. Tiny shower. Thin, hard towels.
Stayed in 5 hotels in Germany similar price but so much better. I think maybe there are some rooms updated as ours was hideous but the pictures on the website looked ok… NOT room 354.
Would not recommend, much better choices available.

Good ubication. Close to public transport and with a supermarket in front. If you go by car there is a gas station 200 meters away. Spacious room and food. Correct mattresses. Pillows could be improved. Ok bathroom with ok water pressure and
hot-cold ok.
The 24 hour reception works well and they were very friendly.

The hotel asked us to pay again when we checked out. It does not make sense to ask a traveling guest to bear the burden of providing payment evidence. It ruined the good mood of travel in the following days.

Authentic German atmosphere. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good. the room was a bit old fashioned but very clean. The closed position to the motorway to Basel (7/8 mins) makes this hotel a good point to stop for the night during long transfers.

Lovely place for a high quality, traditionally served meal. Eating outside under an old tree and enjoying a good glass of local wine is a wonderful experience. Great service, super kind staff. Strongly recommended.
