Wonderful hotel with lots of charm. Location is pretty good. Only 15 minute walk to town centre.
Breakfast is excellent! Staff friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked a balcony room thru Expedia but initially received a non Balcony room. Front desk quickly resolved the issue with a great balcony room. Super clean and modern bath. Breakfast was excellent!

I recently stayed at Hotel Grünberger and couldn't have been happier with my experience. The space was very clean and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. The lovely decor added a warm touch, and every detail was thoughtfully considered.

Convenience was also a highlight; everything I needed was within easy reach, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable visit.

We stayed at Hotel Gruenberger for 2 nights in September, in room 113.

The good 👍
* Easy check in process.
* Very clean room.
* Appreciated the pool.
* Buffet breakfast was great.
* Convenient location for train station.
* Appreciated the robes and towels for use at the pool.
* Loved having a balcony.
* Friendly staff.

Could be better 👎
* Bathroom was extraordinarily tiny, almost impractically small. Felt like I banged my elbows every time I showered or used the bathroom.
* Be warned, the walk to town is up a very steep hill.

We were in an annexe apartment. Very clean and well equipped, but very dark and dated, and no black out blind on skylight over bed.
However, beds very comfortable and breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. Lovely food also in the evening.
We should say also that the staff in the bar and restaurant were excellent. In particular Eslam and team were warm, helpful and were a real credit to the Hotel. Professional and personable.

Good price for location. Quite complete facilities. Good bfast and dinner. The elevator stops between floors. So better prepare if u need to bring a stroller with u.

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. The breakfast is also excellent.
