I really makes me sad to give this place only 3 stars. Everything is brand new, modern and extremelly clean. The matress was a amazingly comfortable. But the customer experience is simply poor, which is kind of shameless taking into consideration the very high price.

1/First of all, it is kind of tasteless that the kitchen is missing really basic things: tissues, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, etc. There was not even a scourer. All these things are absolutely standard in any apartment, even most hotels offer coffee and tea. The worst part is that some of these things are offered very overprized in a small shop downstairs. The furniture is beautiful, but there is not a single piece of decoration, so that the place has a hospital feeling. A mirror out of the bathroom would have been nice.

2/The other problem is the temperature. The temperature in Freiburg was around 18 degrees, and the temperature in the aparment was always around 23 degrees. We tried setting the thermostat to a lower temperature with no sucess so we had to sleep with opened windows. I simply cannot imagine how it is here in the summer. The blankets were also very thick and warm, not suitable for the fall.

3/ The wifi connection was very poor.

4/ The self check-in was a bit complicated, perhaps not suitable for senior visitors.

No breakfast included, not needed, some options nearby.
