We visited during a snow blizzard, so that kinda ruined part of experience. The road to the hotel, starting from the village, was covered in snow and it wasn't cleaned. We were not ready for it, so that made everything stressful. But hey, that's nobody's fault.
The room was really cozy and warm, the main building is fantastic, really pretty and with character.
Unfortunately, the restaurant only had a salad as an option for a vegan dinner and breakfast was also really poor for vegans, besides some raw carrots, oatmeal and fruit. I would love for a 4-star hotel to do better when it comes to good alternatives.
Staff seemed really junior and inexperienced but lovely and friendly nevertheless.

Beautiful natural rural setting off the beaten path which is just what we were looking for. Nature paths with farm animals within view, berries, apple orchards, and German handcrafts on display. Breakfast was wonderful and the woman who served breakfast was kind and polite.

This one is a hidden gem.
This one is a hidden gem!
The service quality it top tier, as you would expect from a "Fineschmecker" awarded restaurant.
The rooms are rustical, extremely clean, with black-out courtains (for me a crucial point to get a great night sleep). Breakfast service is great, sufficient variaty.
Even if the location is semi-secluded, you will be rewarded by birds singing in the morning, when going on the terasse.

This hotel is a little heaven on earth! Me and my husband spent three nights here with our baby and had a fantastic time. The hotel is really comfortable and relaxing and the surrounding nature is amazing! The staff are super nice and the buildings are really beautiful with beautiful details! We are so grateful that we found this gem and hope we can come back soon!

Great location and view the hotel and restaurant are located in a peaceful and quiet location. The suite has an amazing view and its very spatious. This said it also needs to be redone the furniture is high quality and properly maintained but I would say it's from the 60s or 70s. The cleanliness of the room was exemplary and the staff was very sharp and welcoming.

Located on a hill with great views and excellent hiking trails. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is excellent and friendly. There a different restaurants on site. We are are gourmet one which was outstanding. One Michelin star. The wine list is also small but great selection.
I would recommend.
