Mara Restaurant & Hotel in Diessen am Ammersee

I celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary at Mara Restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect. The team prepared everything with such care and attention to detail—it truly felt special. The dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

My wife and I just spent a week staying here and got to enjoy an amazing dinner during our stay along with some friends and family who live locally. Not only was our stay extremely comfortable but the dinner that Rambo and his staff prepared for us consisted of some of the most delicious recipes. I'm really glad we were invited to enjoy a dinner here and Rambo and his staff assisted us having the most memorable vacation ever. Extremely friendly feel to this place. I completely felt at home and we were treated like family for our entire stay.

Popped in for a bite to eat. The food and the service was outstanding. As a tourist I felt so welcomed by both Rambo and Gloria. Would 100% recommend!

This was our second stay at the Mara. Service and Food were both great. The Menu includes a wide range, including vegetarian and seafood options.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
When we'll have to stay in Dießen, in the future the Mara probably will be our first choice.

We didn't stay there at this occasion, but we went there for dinner almost every evening during our stay at Dießen Am Ammersee. It is a lovely, quiet Turkish restaurant to eat. The staff is very friendly, service is great, the food is delicious and light. It is nicely decorated and you feel very welcome.

Again and again very tasty food in a great cozy atmosphere!

Hotel and restaurant are highly recommended. High quality and tastefully decorated, well-kept and clean, very friendly and courteous staff. The room is large and well equipped. The bathroom has a modern and a large shower. In the restaurant we were pampered both at breakfast and at dinner. My conclusion: I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

We have been there a few times now and this is the bottom line:

I can more than agree with the 5 star reviews with a clear conscience.
You are received and served like a king (or to put it in modern terms: like a king: in 😉).

The boss is attentive and takes his time whenever possible. The food tastes fantastic and you can feel that mum cooks with you personally.

Last but not least, the always warm and very hard-working service with the beautiful eyes should be mentioned :-)

The dishes are not only convincing in terms of taste, they also meet the requirement "the eye eats too".
The price-performance ratio is also more than justified.
For such a well-prepared grilled sea bream you pay a lot more elsewhere, but are happy to get a much smaller fish.

All in all, our new favorite restaurant in every way!
