This hotel is a must-stay if you're attending NSO. It's perfectly located close to the school and offers a delicious breakfast. The receptionist, Katja, was incredibly supportive, addressing all my needs and requests and keeping in close contact via email. Thank you so much for your professionalism and kindness!

I have stayed in many similar hotels in rural Bavaria but this one was outstanding. The room was nice and tidy, good breakfast, and the hostess was super nice and helpful.

I did not stayed here for any night, but came here just to wait for 3 hours, Katja gave me tea and showed the beautiful terrace. I was impressed by the genuine, calm and pleasant attitude of the place and service. If you like historical roots of interesting places (this hotel has its secrets!) and calm accommodation with tasty food - you should definitely choose this one.

Katja welcomed us perfect, she is a great host. She felt us at home, made us really comfortable, been there for our all needs, even for my son’s doctor examination.

A very nice hotel in a good location. It is especially nice to start the morning with a good breakfast prepared by the always smiling hostess. The rooms are a good size and quiet.

This was an excellent hotel for a 2 week stay. The hostess is extremely friendly and goes out of her way to help.

The rooms are extremely spacious and everything is kept very clean.

One of the best stays I've had, largely due to the great hostess.

Stayed here for 5 nights and I must say, excellent service, Katja went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room (7) clean and tidy and the restaurant very good.

Stayed at Landhotel Lärchenhügel for 5 nights in January. Really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in room 12 - it was very spacious, clean, and overlooking the mountains and the valley. It’s a small hotel but very very nice. The host, was amazing - very welcoming and helpful, and really went an extra mile to make sure we enjoy our stay. Breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but still enough to enjoy. Would really recommend if you are visiting Oberammergau! Thanks a lot for hospitality!Anna x

Katja was brilliant to deal with. Dropped me to the train station aswell blissfully unaware there’s no taxis operating in the town! Hotel was very convenient, breakfast is fantastic. The friendliest place you stay in! Will hopefully be back again!
