Leitner's Hotel Garni in Kaufbeuren

A very pleasant stay. Good price. Easy to walk into town from hotel. Friendly and professional service. I appreciated the room key being left in a lock box as I wasn’t sure when I would arrive. Also a beer from vending machine was welcome after a long bicycle ride to the hotel! All good, thank you.

We have just come home from a 3 night stay here while attending an ice hockey tournament. Getting the key (as we didn't arrive until after 9pm) was really easy with the code from the email.
Our room was round the front door and our friend was round the back door at the carpark.
So he aware their are two entrances depending on what room you have. We were room 1 and it was huge! It was very clean. The Receptionist we met the next day was very pleased everyone has wonderful English. We didn't have any breakfast so can't comment on that, but it smelled lovely when walking by. The cleaners did arrive very early and the first day walked into our room when we were still sleeping so that was a little awkward. But we saw the funny side of it. We'd book here again if we're back next year

Stayed two nights. Staff very nice and helpful. Decent breakfast. Only downside nowhere to sit inside for a beer.

Simple clean hotel. No food available other than a wholesome breakfast buffet. No kettle in the room. Bedside light was not working despite asking for it to be fixed.
