Landhotel Hirsch in Kempten

Staff is nice. Lot of parking space. Room is not soundproof we can hear people and road noise. Food is staple and has lots of variety. But we think the price is kinda high for the hotel. Water pressure is too low too. Just good for 1-2 days stay here.

The Hotel was broadly in line with expectations. For the price is quite ok. Only the fridge was not and has not been repaired on more occasions demand. Not worth the cost of the Hotel due to a power. Also, the front of the Church was a Sleep not possible (rang every day at 7.00 o'clock in the morning in an incredible volume, the man flew out of the beds). Next, we were every day by loud neighborhood disputes as against 3.00 PM - 05.00 o'clock in the morning aroused. Felt like a Thriller. This, however, was to accept everything. But what is not said of the Italian restaurant Osteria was. Here we were treated like second-class people. In our opinion, all was not what was ordered 100 euros, good enough for the restaurant. Staff-80 percent of the unfriendly, long waiting times, were disgusted against local circuit properly from the Local. Other the larger invoices, or orders, had courted and were free spirits and were beschleimt as the Pope himself. And the worst thing was that we observed that food was served to guests twice. The fried potatoes from the predecessor have been passed on to the next guest to eat again!!!. The Hotel and staff were ok but the fitting and not the end of Osteria. Never again the Hotel Hirsch. Too bad.

What they advertise is a LIE! Beware. This place is not what you are paying for. It is incredibly loud, right on a main street. And if traffic doesnt wake you the VERY loud church clock tower will by 7 am. The rooms are tiny. The bathrooms are tiny. We paid for a queen bed and sofa bed. The "sofa bed" was actually a single bed. Not a sofa. One of the kids had to sleep on the floor as a result. Even without the "sofa bed" single thrown in the corner, there was and would be no room to open a suitcase. The walls were also pretty dirty. There is not enough parking and we had to park in the grocery parking lot next door. They also only gave us two person sized towels.

My family had a miserable night staying at this hotel due to issues that the hotel could correct if it cared to do so: noise, mosquitos, cigarette smoke, and bad service.

First of all, our room at the hotel had no air conditioning or ventilation system, so we had no choice but to open the windows to keep it from being a sauna in our room. However, the windows didn't have screens, so mosquitos entered the room and were biting us all night. The open windows also made the room incredibly noisy. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant, but what we didn't realize ahead of time was that they operate it as a beer garden in their patio area, which meant numerous noisy people were just outside and their cigarette smoke wafted into our room until about midnight. We were also awoken multiple times by barking dogs inside the hotel, in the parking lot, and on the next-door property: the hotel is "dog-friendly" and there is apparently a whole pack of dogs that roams the property next door and barks furiously at anything that moves in the night.

All of these things were stressful and kept my family from sleeping very well: we all woke up the next day feeling tired and irritable, and when we mentioned the problems to the hotel staff they didn't seem to care and weren't willing to make any amends. That was the most frustrating aspect of all, and it's why I'm writing this review. Thus, based on my experience, I definitely would advise against staying at this hotel.
