Hotel Bachmair am See in Rottach-Egern

The location is great, in a good setting, the rooms are pretty good too; the breakfast is just awesome with nice service, lots and lots to choose from and great cooks who may serve you waffles, omlettes and other food. The restaurant is great, although with expensive, but lovely food. There is also a big sport centre; swimming, running or fitness is easy to do around here

Very friendly staff! Everything was very clean! The TV is maybe not necessarily on the current state but has to work?. The beds were for me and my wife to soft but that is a matter of taste... highly recommended is the pool area with a hot tub ?. Can only recommend the Hotel!

I found the hotel pretty good indeed! The reception upon (late) arrival was welcoming and rather friendly! The breakfast area itself and the choice of foodstuffs are very good, as well as service. For example they even cooked for me a nice small cake! Still, I was most impressed by the Wi-Fi internet speed the hotel provides (also in my room): up to 90 Mbits/sec with no password! Amazing! I never had such a fantastic internet access so far! Parking is free and rather convenient, there is place enough to put your car not far from the hotel entrance. Of course there is the lake you can contemplate directly from your room terrace. The terrace itself is covered with a soft carpet! So, overall 5 stars!

The hotel is nice, near lake with a beautiful panoramic view from the restaurant. The breakfast was good (for a vegan option you have to announce at reception or kitchen - not sure where exactly...).
The pool was wonderful, water warm - so if it rains you can swim.

Excellent service, especially during breakfast. Rooms were good, not very modern but cosy & clean.

Love this place even in winter! Amazing location and my room has a great view of the lake
