Before our arrival, we communicated clearly via e-mail that we were 4 adults and 2 small children, booking two rooms, one of which would accommodate 2 adults with 2 kids. The hotel confirmed our request without mentioning any restrictions or issues regarding children.
Upon arrival, we were asked to pay the full room charge in advance, before even seeing the room. When we entered, we realized that no baby beds had been prepared, despite our prior written request. At the reception we were then told that only three people are allowed per room, so two baby beds could not be added — and that the hotel allegedly had only one baby bed in total, which is hard to believe for a hotel operating under an international brand.
When we explained that this did not match the terms agreed by e-mail and requested a refund, the receptionist initially refused and behaved dismissively. Only after insisting firmly did they reluctantly agree to refund the payment, showing clear irritation. To make matters worse, the receptionist then told us that we should “never come back to this hotel again.”
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and far below the standards expected from the Wyndham brand. The communication was misleading, the customer service unprofessional, and the overall attitude toward guests — especially families — was disrespectful.
Rooms may be average, but the service quality was unfriendly, unreliable, and far from international hospitality standards.
Not recommended for families or anyone expecting basic professionalism and honesty.
What was particularly jarring was the wake-up call of "Housekeeping," which the cleaning staff used to knock on every door at 9:00 a.m. After being half-asleep and turned away, guests had the pleasure of hearing their loud conversation in the hallway—with the doors closed, mind you.
What you can do?? Hire female cleaners.. put cameras.. and add chain locks from.inside doors..
Since it was very hot, I would have appreciated air conditioning and a refrigerator in the room.
I will choose this hotel again the next time I visit Rosenheim.
The rooms are not very clean (we had dirty floors throughout), and the cleaning service doesn't bother with sweeping floors when they clean rooms. The room service employees (all men) just open the door directly after knocking, not waiting to get a reply from the room. This happened multiple times and made me feel very uncomfortable.
We were here during the summer and it was unbearably hot. the rooms don't have AC and there is no insect net. We had to keep the window open for a bearable temperature, and had an assortment of giant insects coming in.
The rooms are old and unmaintained, and there is no mini fridge.
However there is a comfortable desk chair and plenty of wall sockets.
