The rooms are spacious, stylish, and very comfortable — ideal for unwinding after a day in Munich. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to all tastes. While the hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the city center, what truly sets it apart is the level of comfort and hospitality.
In short, this is a hotel I would wholeheartedly recommend to family or friends planning a city trip to Munich, especially for those who appreciate great service and a beautiful place to stay.
The rooms are large and super comfortable with lovely big bathrooms and showers. Fully opening windows and easy heating/Aircon. Enormous beds with great pillows. Staff are lovely and helpful with pre-printed recommendations for local restaurants. We got lots of help on how to use public transport and we bought tickets from reception. Would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Moma 1890 this week. We found the room to be very clean and peaceful, the bed was so comfortable we hardly wanted to leave bed in the morning.
The staff, particularly Kateryna, were extremely helpful and very friendly. Every member of staff we met, including cleaning staff, had a smile and friendly words for us.
We were surprised to see we could take as many snacks and soft drinks from the common room as we wanted, and beers were only €1.
If we're ever back in Munich we will be staying here again!
It’s close to all the sites but far enough away that you feel like you are part of the city life, not the tourist life.
They offer free snack and drinks throughout the day which is super.
The windows open which is awesome. This is an old building with a rich history. It’s quiet and comfortable. If you sleep with the windows open you can hear the trolley, but it’s a city so that is expected.
Just a wonderful hotel.
Only the spatial proximity to the Ostbahnhof ensures that I can't sleep at Night with the window open.
