Schliersberg Alm in Schliersee

Very nice location. You can have a nice view of the mountains n schilersee. Food was good and super reasonably prices. You havr to rrach hotel either eith cable car or walking. Cable car for duration of stay is included in your cost. Very nice staffs. Highly recommended for people who want peaceful gateaway.

Really nice place to join the sun and have a lunch. Delicious traditional Bavarian food and excellent dessert. Great view to the lake and mountains.

The view is great, the fact that you can choose to walk up/down or take the funicular is great too (especially for families with small kids) and the fact that you can take the summer-toboggan run downhill is plain fantastic.

But that's also the best parts.
The restaurant and the beer garden (note, it's one where you shouldn't bring your own stuff) are decent, but nothing special (both food and service). In the summer they have a BBQ, which adds a little more.
The playground and the miniature golf course certainly passed their best times already, but the kids like them.

All in all, it's a nice place we like to go with friends, for a short hike or just the view.

Beatiful view! Went during the off season in october and had the entire biergarten to ourselves. The food was excellent and well priced.

Very good hotel at an amazing location!
The hotel is located at a high altitude which is approached via a cable car...making the experience even more fun. The view of the Schliersee and the neighbouring peaks and valleys is spectacular from up here.
The hotel in itself is very nice, spacious and clean rooms with good amenities. The breakfast is indeed very good with typical European cold and hot breakfast items.
The staff is very friendly but most of them speak German and only a few with some English skills.
There are hiking routes all around the hotel.
The prices are reasonable and may go up as per the season...but still the experience is totally worth it.

Went up the cable car for the stunning view of the lake and surrounding mountains while enjoying a beer or two in the sun. The cable car is badly organized and you have to wait a long time for it when busy. You can walk up instead, if steep hills are your thing. You can take the luge carts back down for fun, but there was even a 25 minute wait for that! Food and drink prices are reasonable in the biergarten area. Decent playground and trampoline areas for the kids. Even a very basic mini golf course! Had a very nice time.

You come here for the views. The spot is very popular for families as it is an easy hike to the top and there is plenty of entertainment for the little ones with a playground and a roller-coaster. The food is decent. In summer the hotel restaurant is open, which is great. Out of season the beirgarten offers good prices and decent selection. After enjoying the spectacular views you can take the rodelbahn down, which is fun for people of all ages.

Beautiful scenery especially in the winter time. Myself and my group walked/hiked along the roads up to the hotel. We stayed for an hour and had drinks and typical German food then took the cable cart back down. Everything was beautiful!

A really nice rustic hotel located high above the lake. You have to take a cable car up the mountain or you can hike up(45 min)... the room decor was from the 60's but the restaurant was quite modern and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay here. Not your typical hotel that's for sure. You can even visit just for lunch or dinner. I will be back!
