Great location and easy to park and not need a car. The Total Team and the facilities provide an atmosphere that is relaxing and away form the hustle a bustle of the touristy areas neat by. I have been staying here for a treat for over the last ten years. It has maintained it’s quality and service.

A good hotel for unpretentious people. There was no refrigerator and TV in the room, but we didn't come there to eat and watch TV. The rooms are clean and cozy. This Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the town centre but it has great views over the village and mountains that a lot of the other Hotels don't have, a great location. The host is accommodating and informative, rooms are very clean . Good value for money, l highly recommend this Hotel.

Very nice hotel near Garmisch-Partenkirchen (19 Kms). Been there at BMW Motorrad Days 2019 for 2 nights when all hotel in Garmisch were full. Good rooms, great breakfast.

We are regular guests at the hotel and always feel very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, the food is of high quality and the choice of food is creative. The rooms are nice and clean. The indoor pool is a real highlight for us. Gladly again 😊

Very nice hiking trails directly from the accommodation, restaurants are nearby and you get a list of which ones are open on which days. Rooms were very nice and clean and had a very nice view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will go there again next time

We 2 adults a dog stayed 3 nights now in room 34 with the sun rising. There is nothing to complain about, everything was clean, the family was super nice, there were even towels for the dog. We liked the facility, Klais is a lovely place. It was 4 great days

You just feel good here! We were in "high flight". You really have everything you need and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. You have great conversations and get good tips. Needless to say, the breakfast is world class. If we go back to the area we will definitely come back here!

Magnificent Zugspitz panorama, a super Playground (with many vehicles and Pendelwipppe) and horse paddock next to it. The food was also good. For us it was the trip from Italy, the perfect grid.

Definitely worth the price. We loved the food, room and the stunning view. Awesome spa offer. But we were not impressed by the reception work. At our arrival we didn’t get proper information about our stay and we got wrong purchases on our bill in the end. We didn’t get the offer to bring the luggage to the room. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Gröblalm. We come to this area fairly frequently for skiing in and around Garmisch, although this was the first time we'd stayed in Mittenwald as a base. For skiers; The Gröblalm has a ski cellar - we didn't use it - we just leave skis in the car. Superb stay at this hotel. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and with a great view. Staff were friendly and food was absolutely superb. We usually eat out in the evening but stayed in most nights instead to eat. The hotel is in a location where it’s possible to start many walks. All are well signposted. Overall, excellent value for money.

When you visit Mittenwald, you just have to try a Riesenwindbeuttel here. And yes they are HUGE and very filling.

Great hotel right in the heart of town! One of the entrances opens right up into the pedestrian street with the church. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very quiet as the whole town is quiet after dark. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety. Access to the sauna with water beds is included as well which was nice and relaxing in the evening.

Comfortable stay in a lovely room. We got great views of the gondola and mountains from our room. Be sure to visit the church just down the street and you will find yourself in the old section of town with beautiful buildings. The hotel has a few parking spots behind the restaurant which was very convenient. And dinner was very good as well.

Nice Hotel and kind people but lack of service for the paid price. They did not clean and make the room, also missing shower towels, the only one in the room was very small. I got to Mittenwald by bus in the evening when it was dark thinking I could walk from the bus stop however soon learnt it was not ideal. The hotel staff was very friendly and so accommodating. We had an excellent view of the mountains and great location. The breakfast offered so much and was very delicious, something I have never experienced before regarding so many selections in the buffet. The only disappointment was the shower, as bathroom was small. Otherwise we highly recommend.

One of the best places I've ever stayed at.

I've stayed here 3 times and would definitely return. It is well located, the rooms are spacious(last time I stayed in a single room and even this one was good size), well appointed, clean, bright. Breakfast isn't very varied but that for me isn't an issue as it had what I would normally eat anyway and good quality, fresh.

Fantastic stay, staff is extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is a very short walk to Obermarkt and about 10 min from Karwendelbahn.
