Great hotel right in the heart of town!

One of the entrances opens right up into the pedestrian street with the church.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Very quiet as the whole town is quiet after dark.

Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety.

Access to the sauna with water beds is included as well which was nice and relaxing in the evening.

Really nice place. Amazing of mountains and nice locality making it even better. Really nice service including breakfast and hotel resturant.

This might have been my favorite hotel we stayed at over our 10 days in Germany. Just awesome in every way. Very much worth the money. Highly recommend.

Classic Bavaria. Beautiful.

Awesome property! looks like a fairy tail, the rooms are remodel and very comfortable.

Spacious, clean rooms but a bit dated with dim lighting. No coffee / tea or kettle provided in room but staff was kind to give when asked. Low floor rooms were a bit noisy. Hearty breakfast with a good spread. Staff was very helpful even though overwhelmed with a lot of guests. Location is great right in the heart of town and 5 mins away from station.

Over the years we have stayed here 5 times, the hotel inside presents itself as a traditional Bavarian hotel, the rooms are quite spacious but are in need of some updating, such as modern showers instead of a step in bath with shower attachments, the rooms need air conditioning, as it was unbearable in our room so we had to leave the balcony door open, only to get bit to death in the night by the local variety flies. We thought the hotel was overpriced at over €200 for one night's stay. Shop around.

This is now my favourite hotel now in Germany till date, and I have travelled many times.

Ofcourse Mittenwald is beautiful and every angle has a breathtaking view, coupled with this hotel being in the city center.

In addition, from a product perspective the hotel is excellent. The building and its rooms have a vintage vibe meets modern amenties. Each room has a balcony to allow guests to experience Mittenwald beauty! The breakfast is extensive. There are so many common areas, with different views and vibe (including a fireplace- not switched on when I went in summer). The minibar is included in the price (never seen this before) and all amenities are free (unlike other hotels around).

The sauna is divine 😍, from their glass door pool temperature controlled pool to the modern sauna facilities itself. Three sauna rooms plus a relaxation area with swings, comfortable sofas, throws - I could probably stay there.

However, what makes this hotel stand out is the service ❤️❤️❤️. There is nothing the staff says no to. They allowed me to use the sauna without hesitation post checkout, because I came back drenched to pick up my stored luggage. They are friendly and always trying to help.

In short, my experience is that they really emphasize customer happiness over anything else. I will definitely come back.
