Alpenhof Krün in Krun

We spent 5 days at this hotel, which was our very first time at this hotel. Great atmosphere location superb in a very quiet area. Food was good both breakfast and dinner. The SPA area was not up to date during our visit. However we will kindly recommend this hotel

My recent stay at Alpenhof in Krün was wonderful, largely thanks to the incredible owners! There was an issue with the reservation on the booking.com side, which could have been very stressful for me. However, the owners immediately stepped in and went above and beyond to resolve everything, making sure I had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is truly commendable. I can't recommend Alpenhof enough!

The hotel itself is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. The location is very easy to get to by car or bus and train. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and kept me sated through my day hikes.

I've solo travelled a few times through the Karwendel region but this stay was by far my favourite!! I hope to return again soon ❤️

Last stayed here 12 years ago , it was good then but has since had a lovely refurbishment. I stayed in single ensuite room 22, very light and airy with a large balcony with mountain views. The room has mini-bar / small fridge. There is a small pool and lovely large wellness area with saunas and steam rooms. Bathrobes are provided.I booked half board. Breakfast is continental with the addition of scrambled eggs. You are allocated your table at first meal and you may be sitting with others - nice way to meet people. Half board is a four course , soup,salad,main and sweet. However, there are only 2 options, vegetarian or non vegetarian ( beef/,chicken/fish). You pick your evening meal at breakfast. There's space for about 20 cars. I dropped a star because there is no evening meal on Sunday which is staff rest day. I brought a fan and I'm glad I did. The only improvement I would make is a small table on the balcony.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location very friendly staff. I traveled with my parents for vacation and it was absolutely stunning. The views, the surroundings and the rooms are perfect.
Breakfast was amazing, full of anything you will need for long day of walking and discovering

Me and my family had a lovely stay at Alpenhof! After an unexpected cancellation of another hotel, we had to book a different hotel last minute. This was however not a problem, and we were welcomed with open arms. The host lady and the rest of the hotel-employees were extremely friendly and nice. The food was diverse, fresh and delicious. The rooms were clean and neat. Thank you for your hospitality Alpenhof. Would definitely recommend this place.

super nice staff, great views of the surrounding countryside, rest and recreation right on the doorstep. generous Wellness area. very clean rooms! good and attentive staff in the dining room! cozy atmosphere throughout the house. for the active holiday - alike to relax, summer or winter, absolutely to be recommended!

Beautiful, clean rooms, good food, super Spa, quiet and yet centrally located. Not the good soul of the hotel, Mrs Schober behind.

We were for a short holiday in this Hotel. It has us very well fallen. We travel to 2 years now.
You will have to book early, otherwise you get no space.
The streets are narrow and Parking very sought-after if the Hotels are all-around around. Therefore, it is a book to be recommended a car Park.
Sauna area had fallen to us at the time.
The staff was super friendly.
Sunday is a day of rest. The kitchen also has Sundays off. Evening cold Buffet. But this is also in order.
KRUN itself is beautiful. Small place with a lot of charm. You can go from there, super Hiking, Cycling, or whatever your heart desires.
We were in the middle of the forest in another Hotel of the same category, but it was disappointing. No Sauna, dusty corners...:(

Just one little point: quite warm in the room, couldn't find an independent way to switch the heating on/off
