Only came for food, cant say anything about their rooms.
Waited quite some time until we recieved Menues / could order after being given a table (30+ mins). Half the Menu wasnt available and some of our orders got forgotten / changed (were later taken off the bill). Once food arrived was okay, but not great. Prices were okay too, considering location. Maybe we caught a bad day (i think they switched cooks recently?), but bad service makes me only give 1 star.

The rooms are clean and nice. The same can't be said of the staff: plain and unreasonably impolite. Hidden costs were also applied upon our arrival, despite the room being rather pricey already. Not a good experience overall and definitely not worth the money.

We only dining, didn’t stay. Food was good but not so excellent. Service pretty slow due to short of staff. But very friendly staff

I stayed here one night and wished to have stayed in here longer, the room was really nice and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the staff were nice, breakfast in the morning just hit the spot. Hope to return soon

During our regular trips to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, we always stop for a meal at the "Zum Rassen" inn. It's always a pleasure to sit and eat there in a cozy atmosphere, enjoying great food and a beer (or a bottle of wine). Everything on the menu is highly recommended, especially the Brotzeit-Brettl (a traditional German snack platter). Perhaps the Böfflamott (a beef stew) will make its way back onto the menu someday; that was always my favorite. The service is incredibly attentive and efficient, and even when the place is packed, Babsi and her colleagues have everything under control and always have a friendly smile. A great location and top-notch food in Partenkirchen!

Located in the heart of the historic center, it is characterized by very large, well-kept and clean rooms. Abundant breakfast included in the room price. Possibility of parking in the nearby underground city parking lot at a cost of 5 euros per day.

Bavarian cosiness is not what you imagine. At breakfast, the staff shouted obscenely and created a very unpleasant, bad mood. Questions that should be a matter of course for a hotel are rejected aggressively and only dealt with with extreme fuss and reluctance, including the request for a bill. "What can I do, the boss isn't here and I don't have a printer here." The rooms lack any equipment that would be appropriate for the price-performance ratio (such as soap or smoke detectors). At the breakfast buffet, you could help yourself to already used plates (the crumbs were still visible on them). The hallway smells unhygienic and there are right-wing radical magazines lying around. In this respect, I can only confirm what has been written here so far. Never again - the title "zum Rassen" unfortunately does not indicate a traditional restaurant, but rather says it all.

We booked this hotel well in advance but the day before we were to arrive, we were sent a note by the hotel telling us that they had opened the hotel up to Ukrainian refugees and that they had rebooked us into some of their apartments, located some distance away. Although we applaud the hotel for opening up to refugees, we wish they had given us more notice so we could have made other accommodations.

Rooms were really nice and also the view from window is beautiful. Breakfast is included in the stay and food was tasty. The owner of the hotel is really good at providing services and always there if you need any support. 🙂 However, what I did not like was the behavior of staff. When we asked for some help regarding our room, their reaction was very rude. So tip to the staff if you are providing services, then please be a little patient and learn to talk politely. 👍 just because of this reason giving 3 or I would have given 5.
