AngerResidenz in Zwiesel

My wife and I stayed for 9 nights in this delightful and professionally managed hotel. We occupied Apartment E1 on the ground floor. It consists of an entrance vestibule with a separate inner door leading to the open plan kitchen and sitting room. A separate bedroom was to the rear, the bathroom with a spacious shower stall on the side and a little patio with two garden chairs and tables to the front, facing the large garden and river. All the facilities were very clean and fully stocked with glass ware, crockeries, cutleries and cooking pots as well as a small dish washing machine, electric kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster and two ring electric counter top cooking range and fridge. The owner also provided some basic condiments like salt and pepper and sugar as well as dish washing liquid. The apartment was tastefullly furnished with solid wood furniture consisting of a dining table for 4, pull out settee and leather easy chair, armoir and shelves. The bedroom had a big wardrobe and very comfortable beds and bedding. There is plenty of storage space. There was a big screen TV with plenty of German and English language channels in the sitting room, a digital radio in the bedroom and small stereo system in the sitting room. We rented the unit as a “Ferienwohnung” or holiday apartment without cleaning service and breakfast and did not use any of the leisure facilities in the basement. The under floor heating was very efficient and kept the apartment cosily warm in late October when temperatures dropped as low as 3C during the night. We very much enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending the Anger Residenz. We would definitely return. Thank you Mr Hesse, for a wonderful stay.

The anger residence have spent a nice little Hotel in which I now already several times my vacation. The Apartments are beautifully furnished and well equipped. In addition, there is a Spa area with a Sauna and a Spa tub. The staff is friendly and helpful. Above all, it is quite straightforward which suits me very personally. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

I have stayed at this hotel several times now. Most recently in July 2021. I've never been disappointed. The apartments are nicely furnished and clean. The staff is very friendly. Everything is still quite familiar here.
The breakfast buffet is not as huge as in large hotels, but you will still be full. The rolls are fresh and the morning breakfast egg is not missing.
Will definitely be there again on vacation.

We stayed at the Angerresidenz as a family with a dog. Had an apartment on the ground floor in which we felt very comfortable. Nice accommodation, everything clean and super courteous / attentive staff. Had booked with breakfast, that was really perfect!

We wanted to spend a few quiet days in the Bavarian Forest. It was wonderful. The team complied with all corona rules excellently. We were very satisfied. Thank you!!!
