Hotel did a good service recovery by putting us at their sister hotel- exe suite room as they sold our room on the first night and gave us complimentary abf and sight seeing tour bus tickets. Though given a suite, we do not like the room as much as hotel luc (modern) and a hassle to wake early to check in to hotel luc on the next day. Morning shift staff seems unaware...

The hotel is very close to the Berlin Zoo —you can easily walk there, which is one of the main reasons I chose it. There's also a large shopping mall nearby, just a one or two-minute walk away, so it's very convenient for shopping or having a dinner

I booked a single room and it was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever seen. The hotel is modern with the rooms being well equiped, clean and tidy. They had a hairdryer, but I would have prefered tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The best thing about our stay were the very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very small and had too much furniture, which made it seem cramped. The shower was broken and breakfast was way overpriced.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the SO Berlin! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. We were fortunate enough to have booked with breakfast included and the spread was so delicious every morning. The view into the zoo was unforgettable!

We stayed here in 2017 and really loved it. Now, we were a bit disappointed coming back some years later. While the lovely interior design still remains intact, there are some odd looking elements added to it now that disrupt the stylish and clean design (e.g. the blinking Christmas tree lights in the lobby, the Christmas decor in the restaurant, the furniture looks like it could need a new painting...

I had a great experience here. I especially liked the sweet doorman who helped me Friday 10-10-25. The room was inviting and outfitted well. I had everything that I needed. The Hotel had an elevated yet simplistic ambiance. I enjoyed the sauna and the pool. It was a true Finnish sauna. I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking the zoo. Perfect location and tidy rooms. I wish the rooms would have a water boiler and a mini bar for cold water though. Quite loud from both outside the hotel and from the corridoor which woke me up a few times.

Nice concept, have been there twice. Unfortunately, the room needs some round-up. The mattress appeared a bit floppy, needs renewal. Some parts of the room seem to have seen better days. Small fixes should do.

You have to be a fan of open showers, wet floors, no hooks for towels and loud bathroom fans right next to the bed that can’t be turned off. Also, what's up with not offering daily cleaning, and bed making? You don't have to change sheets/towels every day if you want to save the planet. But please tidy up the rooms (unless you want to be a youth hostel), and don't use “eco” as a reason to not have...

Fantastic hotel! The place has modern checkin and set up but still has a very responsive staff (shout out to Pablo for great advice and help)!!! The bed was super comfortable and the room was just plain great. And the shower was hot and with great waterflow (I write this because inlet really got and it was a nice notable thing). Chose this for a business trip, didn't pay much attention to details, just needed a place to sleep for the night.

Great hotel. The tram stop right outside makes it easy to get to all parts of the city quickly. There's a beautiful park just around the corner. The rooms are very warm. Choose a room at the back, so you can open the windows without the noise from the street/tram. There are also surprisingly good dining/breakfast spots nearby.

Absolutely loved my stay at Gold Palais. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. We paid extra for breakfast which was delicious and there wasa huge variety to choose from. The location is good, a little bit further out but there is a tram stop just over the road. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with our two kitties for a chill firework free new years, could not recommend more. Fireworks are prohibited in the property and they’re pet friendly. Rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Very nice views of the lake would very much recommend and stay again.

The place is quiet, in the middle of the forest, on a lake shore. We like the environment, and the breakfast was good. But if you crave city vibes and/or hate East German retro styling, you might do better at another place.

We were here for a reading with dinner and another time for dinner. Both times, the staff was very attentive, friendly, and hard-working. The menu may be small, but everything was fresh and delicious! We always enjoy coming back for dinner.

A super nice hotel, near Berlin airport (Brandenburg). About 25 minutes drive from the car rental place. A lots of parking space. The room is well equipped and big enough for 4 persona's. There is a Bunk Bed and quiet comfortable king sized double bed. The windows are directed to the local forest and there was a nicest sound of trees and leaves in a wind, that was forgotten. My daughter has stayed here twice at German camp. Very clean rooms and nice surroundings. It's set on a lake in the middle of a forest. Historically it's interesting too as this is where the old east German big wigs hung out.

Absolutely amazing. Staff is vey nice, friendly, always eager to help and ready to go the extra-mile. Food is very good as well. For breakfast they even prepare as much fresh omelette for you as you want. I have mixed feelings after staying for a few days at Aspria hotel. I am a member of Aspria elsewhere and was curious to stay in Berlin. 99% a very pleasant, enjoyable and satisfying stay. My only negative was: 1 of the 2 lifts being out of service. And, having to walk up 10 steps to reach the reception desk. Very nice stay. I’m a repeat guest and I do love this place. What slightly spoiled my enjoyment was the absence of a coffee machine in the room. Also they stopped offering room service, which the great staff tried to accommodate me as much as possible. But still for a property of this class, I’d expect that option. Having said all that I had yet again a great time and will happily return.
