The hotel is very new and has been successfully renovated. Everything is beautiful and the first impression was very pleasant. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom door was difficult to open. Great location! Excellent service, great value for money, clean and hygienic, and the rooms have a modern, high-tech feel. The breakfast is plentiful, and the front desk staff are professional and welcoming. The rooms are conveniently located for accessing major attractions; I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were very attentive, we were very pleased with the location and the cleanliness of the rooms, and the breakfast was adequate. The small size of the bathroom and the fact that the shower was a bathtub were the only negative points I could mention.

Good breakfast and good service. There was no socket by the bedside , normally I wouldn’t mind, but it was a bit inconvenient in case of a flight cancellation or an early departure. Overall, it was a good experience.

Altrough clean rooms, great food and place there was a big problem. I was sleeping here after cancelled flight at BER airport. I was here around 12pm and fire alarm that was over my head suddenly started at 6am due to someone smoking or cooking in the room. Hotel staff couldnt locate the room it was starting in so alarm was starting over and over for another hour.

My staying went very well, the place is a bit old but fully functioning. Food and breakfast were excellent and available almost the all day.

This is a very big and especially good hotel for corporate conferences, meetings and get together. It is somewhat outside of Berlin from where there is no direct transportation. If you have car then OK otherwise you have to depend upon taxi-on-call. Hotel’s menu was good. We are vegetarians and stayed for two days. We did not find any problem. Stayed at Living Hotel Weissensee for one night, arrived around 18:00 with no available parking at the Hotel or nearby(remember to book parking in advance), Staff was very helpful.

This hotel exceeded expectations, really nice vibe, only 25 minutes on the nearby tram to alexanderplatz. Perfect location near the lake which was a lovely walk to after a delicious breakfast. We arrived ready to leave our luggage and our room was ready so we get to check in at 1pm instead! I think we were just lucky but it was nice they let us in. I was out there for the Berlin marathon with my family and while it wasn’t right near the hustle and bustle of the finish line area, I was more impressed by the quiet, clean family neighborhood, space, dining facilities and overall amenities and service. Old east German hotel. Great sauna and gym. Location is close to the lake. Few minutes' walk to public transport.

Huge, clean room. gGeat for a family. Lots of space. High ceilings. Deck. Two TVs. Kitchen. bar seat. Great neighborhood. Very nice Biergarten on property. I highly recommend. It’s a little out of the way of Berlin marathon start and finish line which is why I traveled to Berlin but about a 30 minute uber ride or accessible easily by public transportation. Very nice hotel walkable to the tram. I was visiting for the marathon and though the location was farther from downtown, it was easy to take the trams and trains everywhere. My room was very spacious and quiet.

It is almost the worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed. The room is extremely small. Apart from a 1.2m-sized bed, the room cannot even stand for a desk, so you have a platform by the head side of your bed to place staff (very creative).  They have a strict check-in time from 3 pm, and staff are not friendly enough to explain things. Moreover, the 150 Euro deposit fee was not mentioned anywhere.

This hotel is LGBT-friendly, and guests of all genders and ages are welcome to stay. The staff provide excellent service and give very helpful recommendations.

Not realised that it is a rainbow hotel until after we checked in. It is a bit out of city centre but there are many restaurants and shopping centre in the neighbourhood.

Had a good time, low season so not much happening in the hotel if you were interested in having some drinks at the bar. We tried breakfast, good choice and amount for the price. Jacuzzi was nice , the gym had enough machines to workout the minimum. All staff was nice and polite and very helpful. Definitely recommend .

Excellent breakfast and silent location

The campus hotel is very simple and the bed is basic with only a tiny quilt for a so-called king sized bed. You hear every noise of the neighbors. It is really not a hotel for travelers, just ok for a meeting at FU Berlin. The breakfast is ok. Outside it looks kind of fancy!

Good location, good service, reasonable price, but the lighting in the room needs to be upgraded.

The hotel itself was really nice and the reception staff always polite. I found one or two of the breakfast staff a little rude at times. We found the room to be quite small with little space to put general things out. One thing that was missing was tea and coffee making facilities, I can’t remember when I was in a hotel without this. All in all, though, it was a comfortable stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at the yard for 10 days this past July. From check in to check out, the service was friendly and effecient. I stayed in large room and the room was spacious, cool, and had a great shower. The location was ideal for our purposes, it was a nice walk to the transit station and places of interest in Kreuzberg. We booked a Suite with Balcony, Room 20, for 4 nights in late August. Wonderful, would stay again! Note – if you speak no German or need a soft bed, you may struggle conversing with the front desk staff or struggle sleeping as the mattresses are relatively firm. There is a terrible terrible smell in the elevator. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. It smelled like an old and moldy dishrag. The drain in the shower didn’t work too well, so there was a big puddle in the shower shortly after starting it. Otherwise the location is good and the bed is comfortable.

Good choice in a great area of Berlin Stayed for one night and it was alright. Located in my favorite area in Berlin. Staff was helpful and room was clean and spaceous. The only minus is that there is a busy road next to the hotel, which was a bit noisy. While this didn't bother me, light sleepers might want to request a room that is not directly facing the road.

Staff was very kind and location is good. Curtains don't block out all the light so it is hard to sleep in. Hallways got noisy in the mornings with other guests and housekeeping staff. Decent value for the money.

Everything was fine. The hotel is fine for a three-day trip. However, breakfast hasn't been served since February. It was offered as an option for booking. It didn't bother us, but it should be rectified.

Overall we had a nice stay. Room and bathroom were nice, spacious and comfortable. Perfect if you enjoy staying in the Friedrichshain area. However, one of the receptionists’ lack of skills to communicate and the fact that rooms weren’t soundproof did decrease the overall experience.

Apartment room was good, well equiped and clean. The hotel was nice, the staff helpful and the food excellent. The only issue we had was the room was very warm overnight despite advertising rooms were air conditioned it was not available (told it is not switched on until it gets to a certain temperature).

Stayed in this hotel on a work trip week of October 15th. Every thing about this hotel is just wonderful. From the moment you check in to time I checked out, it was a pleasant and friendly experience. Room was very comfortable and WiFi was good enough to enable work to be done. The location was grate. I was 20 minutes close to Marianplatz and 5 minutes close to Lidl and a shop complex. The service and the rooms were grate and they have the breakefast at only 7 euros and it was a very good one. So yes, I recomend this Hotel.

The only complain I have is the AC. The AC broke during the entire stay. This is not acceptable for a four star hotel since it is quite hot in end of June for Germany. Other than that, the room is large and clean. The bed is comfortable. The location is also good with plenty of transport options.

The best thing about Monbijou Hotel is it's location. If you enjoy walking around , it's a great place to start seeing the sites. The rooms are clean and very quiet on the courtyard side but quite small. The rooftop is very beautiful and nice to lounge around and get out of your room.The breakfast was good and well balanced.
