Wonderful small hotel, tranquil atmosphere, and super location at the lakeside. Staff is extremely friendly going to length making sure guests are welcomed. Breakfast room overlooking the lake and good selection of foods make for a great start of the day. Only a short drive from the highway, so worth the detour, should you need a room for the night or stay for a vacation too.

Great little hotel on the lake. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Pity about the restaurant closing but it's close to everything. English speaking owner who's very helpful on email!

We had a wonderful evening dining at the lakeside Biergarten. Our group was large and our waitress was fantastic despite the size of our party. The food was also excellent.

Eat the taste only average. Unimaginative Menu. No fresh herbs to the fish. Potatoes are also not very fresh. Composition of the courts, partly strange (pike-perch with mushroom sauce). Guest room and furnishings not up to date anymore, but a beautiful winter garden. Operation but very nice and attentive. Homemade Liqueurs.

Traditionally, down-to-earth, the chef knows what he's doing. Quality of food - very good. One (or more) visits are worthwhile. Great waterfront location with lake view. Service confident and friendly. .

The Restaurant is beautifully situated with views of the lake. The service is fast, warm, attentive and makes you feel completely at ease.
Ordered salad, fish, Venison, pasta with chanterelles. The plates were insanely beautiful decorated with flowers and all the trimmings. Every single dish was a feast for the palate. Us house were served with homemade balsamic and Oils (mirabelle plums, water melons, balsamic vinegar, porcini mushroom, and garlic-herb Oil). The food was sufficient and was well fed.
We were shown afterwards in the herb garden behind the Hotel.
I can recommend the Restaurant only. It will not have been for me the last Time, even if I have to go a little further.

We are regular guests of the hotel and it has its reason: in addition to the excellent Service and the cordiality with which you will receive, you have an incredibly great view over the lake. We are very happy to be a guest at the Hotel Altes casino. Also worth noting is the current gas station for car and bike.

good kitchen and very friendly staff. The former half-timbered Inn
"The old casino", in the skill and creativity of the owners in a modern Hotel
converted. All the rooms are different and very level designed.
During our meeting with former colleagues from multiple regions

Very friendly Service, although we came with a large group without a reservation. Also the food was great.
