What a lovely normal priced hotel near all the shops, restaurants and the zoo. Have been here twice and will absolutely return again. The girl at the reception was very helpful.

Comfy bed, parking available, good breakfasts (scrambled eggs - yum!), fgiendly staff.
It is Good hotel & my experience staying there for 2 nights was really good. I had standard room which was good. I was expecting Park Plaza as more upscale & high standard hotel which it really failed to prove, so i only gave it 3 star. Phone in the room was out of order. In breakfast they had few options for Vegetarians which was helpful.
For some reason it is extremely stuffy all over the hotel. The halls outside the rooms are nearly always dark which in itself is not really a problem but it is a little strange. The room is clean though and the breakfast buffet is decent. Bathroom is nice and large but nowhere to hang towels so you either have to jam them under the sink, put them in the sink or on the floor which is a bit of a bother. Also only 2 accessable power sockets, one at the door and one next to one bed, but not next to the other one.
The Room and Overall quality was good. The bathroom was something different though. I liked the silent AC alot at night. The buns at the breakfast were too small in my eyes. Besides, the Coffee crema was a bitter taste experience. Overall a solid hotel.
Centrally located with dozens of restaurants, cafes and hundreds of shops within walking distance. Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Zoologischer Garten station. From there you can visit any of the Berlin's cultural sites and points of interest as well as Berlin Hbf Central Train Station (4-5 stops, 10 minutes ride). There is a U station on the same block just 2 minutes away.
Rooms are on the smaller side, which is standard for European hotels. The carpet had some stains on it, the door jams and walls needed touch up paint, otherwise it was clean and comfortable. The soap dish in the shower was missing but they ultimately they installed a new one after asking them two day in a row.

The professionals are so gentle, and the service is good. The only problem was when I got inside the bedroom, there was a bad smell coming from the toilet, solved some time later.
The room was fine, but on the evening of our arrival, the battery of the rooms, unlocking was empty and instead of that, the caretaker came immediately, we had to wait 2 days.
So we had to say each time at the front Desk know that we are being open-minded and this took sometimes up to 15 min. In part, we were received even unfriendly.
