The Strand hotel was nice. A few delays with finding my reservation but wit was sorted quickly. Rooms were okay, but I loved the long curtains and windows which gave it a good feel. A safe is provided and the beds and pillows were comfy. Shower cubicle was quite tiny and some people may struggle. Breakfast was ok. I won't say a lot of variety but did the job.

the place and the standard there was nothing wrong with it but the person we checked in for didn't speak English which was a big shortcoming when you wanted to ask about things. There were staff in between who spoke English but not at the time. In the same way, it was when we checked out and wanted to ask why there was such a different price for our rooms. Fantastic location on the promenade just 50 metres from the beach, and it was worth paying more for a room with the sea view. Breakfasts were superb, and the restaurant served delicious fish dishes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a week and were genuinely sorry to leave.

Great hotel on the seafront. The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy and beautiful. The spa (Turkish bath and two different kinds of sauna) is a dream. Fantastic breakfast and adorable staff. Dogs accepted.

Not worth. Rooms are really old, carpets are dirty. The toilets are really small for a „4 star hotel“. The sink in the toilet was on top of the closet and you need to pull it to the side if you want to use the toilet. Shower looks dirty and you can see mold between the tiles. However, the view was great. You can open the windows to the balcony and see the ocean. Food in the restaurant was also great...

The staff is very professional, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is stunning. The whole place is quiet, the decor is a bit 90's dated, but the building, furniture, windows, bathrooms are impeccably maintained. We would definitely come back any time!

Very comfortable hotel, spa was well furnished and quiet. Was a little dismayed to have a staff member open the door to the sauna and give a 5 minute lecture on the need to sit on towels while using it, towels were all brown from the benches afterwards. Hubner Park is less than a block from the beach front. It is the sister hotel to Hubner Strand which is directly beachfront. Services and amenities are about the same in the two hotels, except the Park doesn't have water views and is a little more budget friendly. This hotel is centrally located in the charming town of Kuhlungsborn right on the Baltic Sea coast. The people working there were extremely attentive and a pleasure to interact with. The room was impeccable and the food there was excellent. I cannot find anything that they need to work on or improve.

Great place and value for money

On our first visit to Rügen Island, we were accommodated at the beginning of May in a double room in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We did not use the spa and pool facilities or entertainment. The breakfast is excellent, diverse and very fresh, the staff is friendly, with a smile on their faces. I highly recommend these accommodation units for their value for money.

It got really hot in the room, No aircon. Reception not open when We got there, call in advance if you arrive late to ger access to keycard.

The size and furnishings of our comfort room left nothing to be desired. Breakfast is always a highlight and in the evenings there is something for everyone on the small but fine menu. Ok Hotel outside Wismar. Good swimmingpool and sauna. Ok restaurant but food average.

The hotel itself is a bit abroad from Wismar. The rooms were tidy, the staff at the reception friendly. The breakfast buffet was diverse. Sweet pastry, English breakfast, graved salmon, cold cuts and an asortment of bread were available. It was a good choice if you don't mind staying NEAR Wismar instead of staying IN Wismar.

Rooms was fine, but smells weird. Pool/wellness was a joke and was naked sauna. Food was good and nice staffing. Price was great.

Clean hotel; a bit hard to get to - use your GPS if possible as it is kind of tucked in behind a few stores. Really quite hotel, nice restaurant; overpriced breakfast. the wi-fi is not great; the connection is decent but it times out every 30-60 minutes and makes you re-enter all the log-in details. It's ok, but for the price I would have expected a little more. The location of the hotel is very good and you can get to the beach within three minutes. Infection protection is not respected, especially at breakfast, because you are sitting at the same table with strangers who are constantly coughing and sniffing.

Unfortunately, due to the DB strike on August 23, 2021, I was unable to take my annual vacation and had to cancel at short notice. The hotel was so accommodating and waived the € 500 fee. I am enthusiastic about so much humanity during this time. Kudos and thank you very much. Such behavior cannot be taken for granted! Family room for three was clean and large but a bit over furnished. WiFi was very poor in the whole hotel and didn't work in the room at all. Breakfast offered quite a small selection for the price. Parking behind the hotel at extra cost, and the room is already quite expensive. Elevator stopped working. Room in two floors, was not explained well by travelling agency. Kitchen not equipped with what you need. Three course meal, always soup of the day and prefabricated dessert. Not 4 star experience. Location at the beach and good parking. Furthest away on Rügen, a lot of transport to get to site seeing.

I thought the Soltus hotel was amazing - after a 60K sweaty cycle to get there from Stralsund, we were greeted on arrival with a Prosecco, and the staff were charming and kind. The food was delicious - the hotel had an excellent high-quality breakfast buffet including smoked fish and delicious pastries and fruit salad, and dinner was unusual and tasty. The pool was small but clean and great to relax...

Only 3 stars, even though it deserves 5. Unfortunately, all the bathrooms are old and some are quite worn. So far, only one room had a somewhat newer bathroom. The showers are unusable for someone with a leg disability; the step is far too dangerous.

Great hotel, is in a quiet location but also very central. Are about 5 minutes to the beach and the promenade. Great room everything you need, with a balcony facing the church. Breakfast very rich, everything is there I can only recommend it

Charming hotel in a lovely city Cozy hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff in the middle of an incredibly charming city. Could have been more thoroughly cleaned and the bed/pillows were not the softest things you'll experience. We experienced great service and the location in the oldtown of Güstrow was lovely.

We ended up in Hotel Altstadt out of interest for the artist Ernst Barlach and were a bit apprehensive when arriving by train to Guestrow. We were pleasantly surprised, the hotel is friendly and comfortable, and our room was of a good size with excellent beds. We slept very well. Breakfast was varied and good. The hotel is centrally located in the town and we were able to walk to most sights.

We spent absolutely wonderful time in the Ostende hotel in the Penthouse room. The hotel has been recently renovated, it is modern and well designed with top quality amenities. It is small enough to give the feeling of cosiness and friendliness, we felt very welcomed. The food in the restaurant is great! And did I mention the location - right at the promenade, some 10 steps from the entry to the beach...

This was one of the best vacation experiences we've ever had. Not quite as you can hear talking late at night

Wellness Area in the 4. floor with view over the Baltic sea. short distances to center , beach , and shopping area.. I was given a room at the back of the building, at the end of the hallway, where there were Wi-Fi problems. They were able to help me with the Wi-Fi issue. No water dispenser in the wellness area.

It's a bit of an old hotel. There's no air conditioning and the bathroom ventilation is broken. However, it's located right in front of the beach and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet doesn't have many menus... but the staff are very friendly!!!

Wonderful stay. Seriously can’t wait to go back next summer. We checked in with two dogs and they had food and water bowls waiting for us along with little treat baggies! No wheelchair access tho. Staff speak very little English, but were very pleasant. Super plus points that it is a pet-friendly establishment, there is a fenced-in dog training park on the premises.

Good spaces for motorhomes. Electrical connections nearby. Short walk to hotels restaurant for dinner or breakfast. At the hotel building there are toilets, showers and washing facilities and a sauna. The Stellplatz sanitary facilities are located on the ground floor of the hotel.

It's a simple but tidy hotel. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. And the hotel is very centrally located for many activities. I recommend it happily and without hesitation. It is only unsuitable for people with walking difficulties.

Terrific! We will probably come back by the end of the year, but next year at the latest. The hotel is a good starting point for getting to know Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and all its sights.

We really liked the hotel with its top location. The lovely staff cares a lot about the well-being of their guests. The willingness to help is particularly noteworthy. English breakfast favourites like eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, but also croissants, rolls (the plain ones weren't the best, but the others were great), a variety of breads. Several jams, Nutella, honey, etc... Plenty of fresh fruit and fruit salads, yoghurts, quark, salads (herring, egg, couscous), plus all the usual...

Stopped here on a day trip for a cup of coffee and a very tasty an good local version of an apple strudel. Both went down a treat, I recommend this cafe if you are visiting the town or the beach.
